Sunrise Chip's cumulative shipments have surpassed 8 million units, with its Embodied Artificial Intelligence business entering mass-production scale.

On September 17, 2026, D-Robotics announced the completion of its $400 million Series C funding round. The round was led by Mirae Asset Group, with strategic investment from Meituan Strategic Investment, and joint follow-on investments from government investment platforms including Hefei State Investment, Shenzhen Nanshan Strategic Emerging Industry Investment, and Jingquan Capital, as well as top-tier institutions such as Cathay Capital, Huamei International Investment Group, GF Xinde Investment Management, Beyond Moore, and Xinchuang Phase II Fund under Qihang Investment. Existing shareholders including Hillhouse, 5Y Capital, Linear Capital, Huangpu River Capital, Vertex Growth under Temasek, Prosperity7, Hermitage Capital, Yunfeng Capital, Meituan Longzhu, Jiuyang Family Office, Dunhong Capital, Kailian Capital, Boiling Point Capital, Unity Ventures, Monad Ventures, Digital Future, and Gengxin Capital also continued to increase their stakes.

Following this round, D-Robotics will continue to strengthen the full compute-range product layout of its Sunrise chips, and build out a software platform spanning data collection, model training, simulation validation, and inference deployment — meeting development needs ranging from mature robot categories to general-purpose humanoid robots.

Revenue Grew Several-Fold in H1; Sunrise Chip Shipments Surpassed 8 Million Units

In the first half of 2026, D-Robotics' revenue grew several-fold year-over-year, with cumulative shipments of the Sunrise series chips exceeding 8 million units, marking its embodied AI business entering mass-production scale.

The acceleration in commercialization was driven by concentrated adoption by leading customers. Since its launch in November 2025, the Sunrise S600 — with its single-chip full-stack compute, high-reliability hardware design, and edge-cloud integrated toolchain — has been adopted by over 20 top-tier customers within six months, including Tashi Zhihang, Spirit AI, Independent Variable Robotics, ZhiZai Wujie, UBTECH, Pacini Perception, Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, Humanoid Robot (Shanghai) Company, and Xiaoyu Intelligent Manufacturing.

Currently, D-Robotics' customer coverage in the embodied AI sector has surpassed 50%. The Sunrise S600's partnerships span humanoid robots, industrial wheeled robots, 3C flexible manufacturing, embodied large models, and multimodal perception, with most projects having entered mass-production shipment stages.

D-Robotics is leveraging chips, development toolchains, and integrated hardware-software infrastructure to help more embodied AI products move from technology validation to scaled mass production, working with industry partners to collectively drive the embodied AI industry toward maturity.
