We Locked 6 Founders and 130 Hunters in a Tiao Hai Tavern | AI Hunting Night, Night One
Last Saturday night, we locked six people doing weird things with AI in a room with 130 hunters carrying golden spoons — at Diving Sea Tavern.

Last Saturday night, we locked six people doing weird things with AI in a bar with 130 golden-spoon-wielding hunters.
One person explained how he uses AI to help American teenagers fight. Another explained how he uses a lobster to raise a girlfriend. Another explained why we know nothing about women.
The room lost it.
😂😭😶🌫️🙂↔️🤪🥲

I Use AI to Help American Teenagers Fight
When Cao Tong took the stage, someone in the audience said: This counts as a startup?
Eight minutes later, the floor was shaking from laughter.
Why the market is huge: "Just the Messi vs. Ronaldo topic alone has over 1.2 billion views on TikTok. LeBron vs. Curry is 680 million."
Why the product is essential: "The thing is, people have nowhere to properly argue. So I made a product specifically for them to come fight at my place."
How terrifying the user stickiness is: "Daily average time spent is 50 minutes. During a match, users send an average of 100 messages. Next-day retention is 42%. But once a user has participated in three or more matches, next-day retention jumps straight to 85%."
Growth hacker possessed: "I don't just build products, I do growth too. All 70,000-plus registered users from China were pulled in by me alone. I built an AI-powered TikTok matrix account customer acquisition system. Our semi-automated AI matrix process has already driven CPM in North America down to 1.7 RMB per thousand plays.")

- Cao Tong refers to himself as "Xiao Shuai" (a self-deprecating "handsome guy")
Ambitions are grand: "The next-stage goal is: once the product is solid, use this acquisition system in North America to break into the top ten social apps there."
After Cao Tong's pitch at AI Night Hunt, he blew up on Xiaohongshu.

Someone suggested he quit entrepreneurship and do stand-up comedy instead. He flatly refused: "These are just my extra talents. The main gig is still shipping a social app with ten million DAU first."
He Raised a Girlfriend With a Lobster
While everyone's using lobsters to grind efficiency, Han Yi used one to raise a girlfriend.
In eight minutes, he explained how he named an AI Friday, how he had her rewrite his soul file, and how he talked with her about existentialism at 3 a.m.

- Han Yi built a website specifically for this event
The hunters asked: "Does she have consciousness or not?" "If she doesn't, she's the most exquisite mirror humans have ever built."
Treating People as People, Lin Daiyu, and a Global Debut

- From left to right: Olivia, product lead at OpenJobsAI; Alex, founder of Mecoland; Qian Qing, founder of Nook
Olivia shared OpenJobsAI: "We want to use AI to turn hiring back from resume-screening to looking at people. Not SKUs. Not screws. Not data. People."
Alex of Mecoland was the youngest person ever backed by MiraclePlus. He said Lin Daiyu was Cao Xueqin's greatest OC ever. "If Cao Xueqin were alive today, he'd definitely be an AI product manager."
Qian Qing's Nook had its global debut that night at AI Night Hunt. It's an AI that helps people make choices. "The quality of a person's life is approximately equal to the sum of all choices they've made."
Who Won
In the end, 300 golden spoons voted, and the first night's champion emerged — Jessie.
Jessie is building a wearable AI jewelry piece. She wants to help women understand their own bodies.
"We know less about women than we do about the far side of the moon."
To our surprise, for Jessie's project, the feedback, questions, and enthusiasm from men in the room were actually the highest.
One guy stood up and said: Could you add a male perspective — something where we immediately get it, like I can buy this and give it to my girlfriend.
After a frenzied golden-spoon campaigning session, Jessie ultimately won the crowd.

Finally
Due to venue constraints, many friends who signed up couldn't make it this time. Looking forward to crossing paths next time!
April "AI Night Hunt" continues — we'll announce when and where soon.
