Anyong Is Looking for Intern Writers
As many of you know, the slogan of Anyong Waves is "Where the money flows, where people rise and fall." That's because we believe money and people are the two keys to unlocking the world of business — past, present, and future.
These are also the two guiding threads for our writers. Through interviews, reading, thinking, and writing, we aim to present our readers with a world that is as close to reality as possible, yet unburdened by trivial details.
Pivotal events, business titans, industrial transformations, and the fateful entanglements between individuals and their industries, between individuals and their times — these are the subjects we are committed to excavating. Over the past year and a half, a few pieces might represent what we do:
The Hidden Gardens of China's Wealthy
The New Era of Going Global: Chinese Founders Conquering the World
In Conversation with Shan Weijian: Always Be Prepared
Two Decades of RMB Funds: Between Life and Death
88 Unpublished Conversations with Investors | Anyong's First Anniversary
"You're Only 36. You Can Be Anything You Want to Be"
The Madness of High-Flyer: An Invisible AI Giant's Path to Foundation Models
Li Guofei in a 10,000-Word Interview: Seeking Wisdom Means Constantly Breaking the Prison of Your Mind
Fan Bao's 180 Days Out of Reach: The Fate of One Man and an Industry
By joining Anyong, you will have broad access to and engage with: investors, entrepreneurs, scholars, and some unexpected figures. As an intern writer, you will participate fully in "the birth of a story": from pitch discussions, to material gathering, multi-party interviews, writing, and post-publication debriefs.
If you possess an instinctive curiosity about business or writing, and want to understand how a story goes from zero to one, Anyong will be one of your best choices. As is customary for an intern recruiting post, here are a few things we look for in you:
- News sensitivity toward people and events in the business world;
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or above, journalism or economics majors preferred;
- Strong research and organizational skills, prior writing internship experience at general business media preferred;
- Action-oriented, logical, and skilled at communication;
- Minimum three-month internship, based in Beijing, remote work supported, but at least three days on-site per week.
But if we could keep only one requirement — and this is what we consider the most important — it would be: your curiosity about "where the money flows, where people rise and fall."
Please reach us at: waves@36kr.com. Looking forward to working with you.
