Recently, Yunqi Capital portfolio company Nanjing Renxin Technology Co., Ltd. received the ISO 26262:2018 Functional Safety ASIL D Process Certification from SGS, a globally recognized testing, inspection, and certification body. This certification, designed to enhance automotive electronics/electrical product functional safety, has been implemented in the automotive and semiconductor industries for over a decade and is widely recognized by domestic and international enterprises and experts.
Obtaining ISO certification marks that Renxin Technology's automotive-grade product development and management processes have reached international advanced levels, and the company is now capable of providing high-performance, highly reliable, and high-safety automotive-grade products and solutions to the market.
Renxin Technology focuses on R&D of high-speed automotive chips, primarily used for transmitting vehicle video image signals. In 2023, the company unveiled its self-developed world's first 16Gbps high-performance automotive SerDes PHY, achieving industry-leading speed and process technology. It is backward compatible with all rates, uses 22nm process technology, supports long-distance transmission up to 15 meters, and offers insertion loss compensation exceeding 30dB.
Additionally, this chip is currently the only single-channel chip supporting dual-camera signal transmission in the industry. As front-facing dual-camera solutions see increasing adoption, Renxin's single-channel solution will help automakers further reduce costs. Since automotive SerDes solutions all use proprietary protocols, the advantages of the dual-camera solution will help Renxin Technology expand its products to other vehicle channels, increasing overall vehicle usage and per-vehicle chip value.
