On June 3, Astribot, the cable-driven AI robotics company dubbed "China's Figure," completed its Series B financing round — three consecutive funding rounds within three months, totaling over 1 billion RMB raised at a valuation surpassing 10 billion RMB, firmly securing its position in China's top tier of embodied intelligence.

This round received a "four-fold endorsement" of industrial capital injection from state-backed funds, continued commitment from leading financial investors, and follow-on support from existing shareholders, accelerating Astribot's real-world deployment and commercial breakout.

New investors include prominent state-backed and leading financial institutions such as Liangxi Sci-Tech Industry Phase II Fund of Funds (managed by Bohua Capital), Yangzhou Longtou Xinli, and Zhongbo Juli, alongside strategic industrial investors including Thundersoft (300496.SZ), Kede Education (300192.SZ), and a well-known listed company.

Indications of interest in this round far exceeded the fundraising target, fully validating top-tier capital's strong consensus on Astribot's "Design for AI" core philosophy and its integrated full-stack approach of "AI model — Embodied OS — Cable-driven hardware." Notably, Astribot attracted multiple industrial investors and their resource injection this round, fully confirming the company's closed commercial loop in real-world scenario deployment.

Global Expansion

The company secured strategic investment from Thundersoft, a leader in intelligent operating systems, successfully locking in core industrial entry points for smart vehicles and AIoT. The partnership also launched thousand-unit-scale embodied robot deployment collaborations, achieving efficient conversion from R&D to revenue. Through "capital + business" dual bonds, both parties will focus on industrial manufacturing and commercial service scenarios, jointly developing intelligent operating systems, VR interactions, and robotic intelligence applications to address real pain points. Leveraging Thundersoft's global channel network covering North America, Europe, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia, the collaboration will accelerate large-scale overseas expansion and scenario deployment in smart vehicles, intelligent IoT, and smart industries.

AI for Everyone

Partnering with Jiangdu Economic Development Zone in Jiangsu Province to establish the "Yangzhou Embodied Intelligence Application Innovation Center," kicking off 100-million-RMB-level commercial application deployment. The initiative focuses on high-frequency advantage scenarios in Yangzhou's cultural tourism, hospitality, and public services, enabling continuous robot operation and deep interaction to accumulate massive real-world data urgently needed for Physical AI. This drives the iterative flywheel of "real scenarios — high-value data — models/applications" at high speed, empowering regional life and service industry intelligent upgrading.

14th Five-Year Integration

Partnering with a listed vocational education company to deeply embed into China's national "14th Five-Year Plan" strategy for artificial intelligence and industry-education integration. Both parties aim to build a "campus + industry" dual data feedback loop as the core, rolling out an integrated solution of "real-machine training + digital curriculum + enterprise certification" for vocational colleges nationwide. Leveraging the shareholder's deep accumulation in vocational education — including quality school-running heritage and mature teaching research systems — the company is accelerating its capture of the trillion-blue-ocean market for embodied intelligence talent cultivation, creating a replicable "China Model."

With this strong resource injection from industrial partners, combined with several existing thousand-unit orders in retail, industrial, and scientific research education sectors, Astribot has already achieved real batch delivery across multiple scenarios.

Proceeds from this round will focus on maintaining iteration and industry leadership of AI foundation models, accumulating high-quality data from real-world scenarios, and expanding R&D talent pipelines. This will solidify the integrated full-stack architecture of "AI model — Embodied OS — Cable-driven hardware," cracking the challenge of large-scale deployment in real scenarios, and steadily advancing toward the Physical AI era.

Dubbed "China's Figure" by the industry, Astribot has adhered to the forward-looking philosophy of Design for AI since its founding, continuously building an integrated full-stack architecture of "AI model — Embodied OS — Cable-driven hardware."

On the AI model front, the company coincidentally shares with Figure the approach of foundation models (Lumo) and a fast-slow system model framework (DuoCore).

On the hardware front, Astribot is the world's first and only company to achieve mass production of cable-driven AI robots, commencing thousand-unit delivery at the end of 2025 — at least one generation ahead of 1X, the same cable-driven approach company invested in by OpenAI. From cable-driven technology to integrated full-stack architecture to the product vision of AI robot assistants (Personal Robot), Astribot consistently adheres to "first principles" thinking and long-termism in the embodied intelligence industry.

In its product matrix, following the flagship S series, Astribot officially launched the T series on May 27, continuing advantages in strong manipulation performance and AI-oriented design, with a starting price of just 89,900 RMB, substantially lowering the barrier to embodied intelligence applications. With T1 mass production and ten-thousand-unit capacity building in 2026, the company further widens its lead over followers. As retail benchmark products such as robot MART demonstrate dexterous human-like performance surpassing peers, Astribot is accelerating toward the Physical AI era, pushing general intelligence into reality.
