On December 16, Forbes released its 2025 China Best Venture Capitalists list. Yunqi Capital founding partners Chengyu Mao and Yubin Huang were named to the list for the ninth consecutive year.
Forbes China has conducted independent research on active venture capital investors in mainland China for 19 consecutive years, selecting 100 investors who have delivered strong performance over the past five years and remain active on the front lines from nearly a thousand candidates recommended by hundreds of VC firms.
Over the past year, AI and semiconductors have remained critical forces shaping the venture capital landscape. As global investment in AI infrastructure continues, related technologies are accelerating from capability breakthroughs toward industrial application, with tighter connections forming between real demand from industry and technology supply.
With over 25 years of venture capital experience, Chengyu Mao and Yubin Huang co-founded Yunqi Capital in 2014 — one of China's earliest specialized VC firms focused on "technology innovation × industry enablement."
