Statement on the Fraudulent Fundraising Incident Misusing the Name "Yunqi Capital"

Recently, our company learned that members of the public have reported an app and WeChat groups operating under the name "Yunqi Capital" that induced certain investors to invest and subsequently prevented them from withdrawing funds, causing financial losses. We hereby clarify the situation as follows:

  1. "Yunqi" and "Yunqi Capital" are registered trademarks. Shanghai Yunpan Investment Management Co., Ltd. is the sole legally registered manager of Yunqi Capital. Investors and portfolio companies should take care to verify this. Our company has never authorized any institution to use "Yunqi," "Yunqi Private Equity," "Yunqi Capital," "Yunqi Venture Capital," or our brand logo to conduct public fundraising. All individuals or groups engaging in such activities are suspected of illegal fundraising.

  2. Yunqi Capital has never authorized any institution to develop apps for investment, financing, or wealth management purposes. All apps using our logo or name in app stores are illegal impersonations, and we will pursue legal liability against their developers in accordance with the law. Yunqi Capital has never organized chat groups, WeChat groups, QQ groups, or similar to conduct fundraising activities or induce investors to invest. All such groups are suspected of illegal fundraising, and we will pursue legal liability against group administrators in accordance with the law.

  3. If members of the public discover any unauthorized use of the "Yunqi Capital" name for the aforementioned activities, we recommend immediately verifying or reporting the matter to public security authorities, regulatory agencies, or internet platform operators to protect your lawful rights and interests.
