"∞pen the World": Yunqi Capital Returns as Producer of the China Open Source Conference Business Forum | Yunqi News · Open Source
Exploring new open-source contexts, actively building a new ecosystem — see you in Chengdu on October 28!

Over the past two years, driven by national policies and industry leaders, the developer open-source ecosystem has matured significantly and expanded its international footprint. Meanwhile, AI has ushered in a new 2.0 era. Rapid technological iteration has sparked productivity innovation and raised new questions about commercialization.
As a long-standing player in the open-source space, Yunqi Capital has closely tracked the commercialization of open source in China, authoring the commercialization chapters of the 2021 and 2022 China Open Source Annual Reports (reply "open source 2022" or "open source report" in our backend to access previous reports). For two consecutive years, we've produced the Open Source Commercialization Forum. At this year's event, we'll join industry guests and founders on the front lines to explore emerging trends and opportunities in open-source commercialization against the backdrop of AI and globalization.
The open-source gathering enthusiasts have eagerly awaited — the 8th China Open Source Conference (COSCon'23) — will take place October 28–29 at Jingronghui in Chengdu's High-Tech Zone, Sichuan Province. This year's theme: "Open Source: Rivers Flowing, Mountains and Seas Reflecting." At the commercialization forum, we'll focus on the new AGI era, joining industry experts and entrepreneurs to examine the international commercial progress of Chinese open-source software.
