Recently, Renxin Technology, a Yunqi Capital portfolio company and developer of automotive SerDes chips, announced the completion of a Series A funding round worth several hundred million yuan, with multiple industrial investors from the automotive and communications sectors actively participating. The first close of this round reached several hundred million yuan. The raised capital will be invested in product innovation and R&D, while also ensuring supply chain operations for the mass production of key projects. This funding round attracted industrial investors including Shaanxi Heavy Duty Automobile Group, Changjiang Automotive Electronics, Queclink, Hangzhou Airport Industrial Fund, Hangzhou Financial Investment Fund, and Zhejiang Dahua Investment. Notably, several existing shareholders also increased their stakes across multiple rounds.

Founded in February 2022, Renxin Technology is an automotive chip design company focused on the R&D and sales of automotive electronics chips, software services, and module solutions. Its current products in development are high-speed automotive SerDes chips, primarily used for transmitting high-speed video and image signals from automotive sensors to domain controllers, and from domain controllers to display screens. Presently, Renxin Technology has successfully mass-produced its single-channel 16Gbps high-performance automotive SerDes, which is backward compatible with full data rates, uses 22nm process technology, and supports transmission over distances of up to 15 meters.

The founding team members of Renxin Technology all come from leading global chip companies, bringing rich industrial resources and engineering expertise. The founder was previously a senior executive at a global top-tier firm, with long-term responsibility for planning and managing the automotive chip design market, as well as promoting product technologies. He also serves as an advisor and expert for relevant standards development at the Automotive Standardization Committee.

The company has recently made new progress in product development and market deployment. In mid-April, Renxin Technology announced the joint launch of the G-T02 chip with GAC — the industry's first 6-channel SerDes chip, featuring 16Gbps high-bandwidth transmission rates and supporting transmission of images from ultra-high-definition cameras of up to 30 megapixels, providing a new solution for the perception systems of advanced intelligent driving.
