Embracing a more economical, cleaner, and intelligent future for the logistics industry.

➤➤➤ Recently, new energy heavy-truck company "Windrose Technology" announced it has raised several hundred million RMB in its Series A funding round, co-led by Yunqi Capital and FountainVest Partners. The proceeds will be used to further advance Windrose's product R&D, market expansion, and industry integration — helping the company bring China's first ground-up-designed new energy heavy truck to the Chinese, US, and European markets**.
Yunqi Capital's Perspective
Yunqi Capital has always focused on "technology innovation, industry enablement." Autonomous driving is a critical sector that Yunqi has long tracked and continued to double down on. In recent years, Yunqi Capital has invested in projects including Yunqi Capital, Neolix, and Juefx Technology, building out a systematic portfolio that covers low-speed and high-speed applications, passenger and cargo scenarios.
Yunqi Capital stated: "We believe two major trends are driving profound transformation in the heavy-truck and long-haul logistics industry: new energy, including battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell technologies, and autonomous driving. These two trends reinforce each other. New energy heavy trucks carry enormous economic value and ESG significance, while also providing a stable, reliable platform foundation for autonomous driving — further driving down logistics costs."
"We are bullish on Windrose Technology's differentiated capabilities on multiple levels. First, its product definition for heavy trucks is industry-leading, effectively addressing pain points including extending range, adapting to autonomous driving, and improving driver working conditions. Second, the Windrose team has built from scratch the experience of developing and manufacturing heavy trucks, combining technical foresight with product execution expertise. Finally, the founder previously led partnerships with overseas top-tier logistics fleets, enabling the company to leverage China's supply chain advantages to accelerate the global rollout of new energy heavy trucks. We look forward to working alongside Windrose Technology to usher in a future for the logistics industry that is more economical, cleaner, and smarter."
Windrose Technology is China's first ground-up-designed new energy autonomous heavy-truck total solution provider. Its products feature entirely new designs for wire-control architecture, electric powertrain, vehicle exterior, and interior — including a fully redundant wire-control electric chassis designed to meet L4 autonomous driving requirements. Founder Wen Han graduated from Stanford University and previously worked at Bridgewater Associates and other well-known institutions. The R&D team hails from leading domestic and international heavy-truck manufacturers, with over 80% of members having more than eight years of heavy-truck development experience.
Windrose Technology's Ground-Up-Designed New Energy Heavy Truck
Windrose Technology's new energy heavy-truck products have entered the testing phase and achieved market breakthroughs in China, the United States, and Europe. In November last year, Windrose secured the largest domestic order for new energy heavy trucks from Rokin Logistics.
As China's first company to develop a ground-up-designed new energy heavy truck, Windrose Technology has a clear commercialization strategy: targeting China's new energy heavy-truck market, steadily entering European and US markets, and continuously using ground-up-designed new energy autonomous heavy trucks to substantially improve transportation safety and reduce costs and increase efficiency for the industry — reshaping the market with cutting-edge technology.
