Yunqi Capital | "Intelligent Square" Closes New Nine-Figure RMB Funding Round, Doubling Down on Model Iteration and Production Line Expansion
Embodied Intelligence, Continuously Evolving

Recently, AI² Robotics, an embodied intelligence startup in Yunqi Capital's portfolio, completed a new Series A round led by Shenzhen Capital Group, with the latter investing over RMB 100 million on its own. Including this round, AI² Robotics has completed seven rounds of nine-figure (RMB) financing in the past six months.
In this edition of "Yunqi Capital," we bring you the details.
The following is adapted from Z Potentials.
The embodied intelligent robotics track has seen another major funding round. Z Potentials has learned exclusively that AI² Robotics recently completed a new Series A round led by Shenzhen Capital Group, with the latter investing over RMB 100 million on its own. This is understood to be one of seven rounds of nine-figure financing the company has completed in the past six months. The pace and scale are extremely rare in the industry, reflecting the capital market's recognition of its technical strength and commercial progress.
On the technical front, AI² Robotics released GOVLA, the world's first full-domain, full-body VLA large model, this April. This large model breaks through the limitations of conventional VLA models that only control robotic arms, achieving better perception capabilities, full-body and trajectory control, and becoming the world's first end-to-end large model with an integrated fast-slow system.
Two months later, AI² Robotics partnered with Peking University and other institutions to launch the open-source version FiS-VLA, which outperformed the international benchmark π0 by 30% in comprehensive performance across three authoritative evaluations, making it one of only two open-source robotics model startups globally and the only one in China.
Beyond technology, AI² Robotics adheres to an "intelligence-driven, commercial closed-loop" approach, building a growth path with compounding effects. Relying on its self-developed robot AlphaBot, it deploys large models in real-world scenarios, with data feedback from usage continuously informing GOVLA's iteration, creating a flywheel effect of "the more it's used, the smarter it gets — the more general-purpose it becomes — the more widely it's deployed." It has become the only embodied intelligence company in China to achieve large-scale deployment across multiple domains including industrial, biotechnology, and public services.
The capital lineup is also noteworthy. Z Potentials learned from sources close to AI² Robotics that the company has successively received Pre-A+++ round funding led by Guozhong Capital and A+ round funding led by Puhua Capital, and has also brought in investments from institutions including Fortune Venture Capital, Cornerstone Capital, and Nanshan Strategic Emerging Industry Investment. Many of these investors are "prudent" investors with strict criteria for hard tech and commercial judgment.
This round saw continued follow-on investments from existing shareholders Dunhong Asset and SDIC, and also attracted participation from Bloomage Biotechnology and a large retail enterprise as industrial capital, confirming that its technical strength, commercial progress, and industrial synergy capabilities have gained multi-party recognition.
It is understood that proceeds from this round will be used for continued iteration of the GOVLA large model and AlphaBot series robots, expansion of self-built production lines, and global market development. Industry observers believe that with the dual impetus of technology and capital, AI² Robotics will further consolidate its leading position in the embodied intelligence field.
