Yunqi Capital | New Milestone: Neolix Autonomous Vehicles First to Enter the "10,000-Unit Era"
From Early Mover to Market Leader

Seven years, from 0 to 10,000. Neolix, a Yunqi Capital portfolio company and leader in autonomous delivery, has entered a new phase of commercialization.
On September 23, Neolix announced the completion of its 10,000th autonomous vehicle delivery, becoming the first in the industry to reach the "10,000-vehicle era." This marks not only a major milestone for the company, but also an inflection point for the autonomous delivery sector — a significant step forward for the entire industry from technology validation to scaled commercial deployment.
Yunqi Capital led Neolix's Series A round in 2019 and has continued to invest in subsequent rounds, witnessing its breakthroughs in both technology validation and commercialization at every step. Read on for the latest on Neolix's progress, in this edition of Yunqi Capital.

On September 23, 2025, global autonomous delivery leader Neolix announced that its 10,000th vehicle officially rolled off the production line and was delivered in Tonglu, Zhejiang. This not only marked the birth of the world's first 10,000-vehicle autonomous delivery fleet, but also signified the industry's major leap from technology validation to large-scale commercial deployment.
At around 4 p.m. that day, a Neolix X6 autonomous vehicle emblazoned with the number "10000" slowly exited the production line, passed through an "invisible gate" symbolizing "a new era," and made its official debut. Neolix founder and CEO Enyuan Yu then delivered the vehicle to customer Xiaoqin He from Tianshui, Gansu, where it will be used to upgrade the city's smart logistics system and further improve local delivery efficiency and service quality.
The ceremony was attended by Mingsong Li, Deputy Director of Hangzhou Municipal Economy and Information Technology Bureau; Jing Feng, Secretary of the Tonglu County Party Committee; Suping Zhang, Standing Committee Member and Secretary of the Development Zone Party Working Committee; Meisong Lai, Chairman of ZTO Express; Yong Wang, Vice President of YTO Express; Chunlin Huang, Special Assistant to the President of Yunda Express; Huifang Ren, Head of Value-Added Business at STO Express; Yulong Song, Head of Autonomous Vehicles at J&T Express; and investor representatives.

Since its founding in 2018, Neolix has pursued its mission to "make autonomous vehicles ubiquitous globally," completing the journey from technology breakthrough to scaled deployment in seven years: in 2019, it launched the world's first factory with 10,000-unit capacity; in 2021, it obtained among the first autonomous delivery vehicle licenses in China; in 2024, deliveries first surpassed 1,000 units; and today, with the 10,000th vehicle rolling off the line, it has achieved the leap from "pioneer" to "leader."
"The 10,000th vehicle rolling off the line is a small step for Neolix, but a new beginning for the autonomous delivery industry," said Neolix founder and CEO Enyuan Yu, expressing his belief that autonomous vehicles will one day restructure global logistics infrastructure, delivering greater cost efficiency and value for customers and society.
Industry observers widely view the 10,000-vehicle delivery threshold as the critical milestone for autonomous vehicles to transition from pilot programs to scaled application. For the company, this validates both technological reliability and scalability, significantly reduces operating costs, improves commercial viability, accelerates the path to profitability, strengthens market confidence, and attracts capital investment. From an industry perspective, large-scale autonomous vehicle deployment helps drive adoption of autonomous delivery in urban logistics, provides core support for industry standard-setting and smart city development, and propels the entire autonomous delivery field into a mature growth phase.
As the customer receiving the 10,000th Neolix vehicle, Xiaoqin He had already purchased more than ten Neolix vehicles prior to this. She explained that autonomous vehicles have been deeply integrated into Tianshui's express logistics system, improving delivery efficiency and bringing faster, more convenient service to local residents. With the addition of this new batch of vehicles, local logistics will see further intelligent upgrades, contributing to social and economic development.

Beyond express delivery, Neolix is accelerating deployment in on-demand logistics, fresh grocery delivery, pharmaceutical cold chain, group meal transport, and community retail — becoming new growth drivers. Particularly since the second half of this year, Neolix has extended into real-time dispatch logistics through its partnership with DiDi Freight. By year-end, Neolix expects to have 4,000 to 5,000 vehicles deployed in non-express scenarios, with the majority dedicated to real-time logistics dispatch.
From express delivery hubs to neighborhood street corners, from cold storage warehouses to supermarket loading docks, Neolix's 10,000th autonomous vehicle is carrying the "vast ocean of stars" of autonomous delivery toward a broader future.
