Yunqi Capital | RealMan Robotics' New Product Kicks Off a Lightweight New Era, Humanoid Robotic Arms Enter the "Thousand-Yuan Era"
Enhancing the durability and cost-effectiveness of robotic arms, significantly broadening their applicable scenarios.
For robotic arms to truly penetrate industries and serve daily life, product pricing is one of the critical barriers that must be broken. Recently, RealMan Intelligent launched two new robotic arms, GEN72 and ECO62. The GEN72 significantly improves durability and cost-effectiveness with its sub-RMB-10,000 price point, further expanding applicable use cases.
Yunqi Capital has been investing in the service robotics sector since 2016 and led RealMan Intelligent's Series A round. We've witnessed the industry's evolution from 1.0-era leg-replacing delivery robots to 2.0-era eye-and-brain-replacing inspection robots. We believe the 3.0 era of service robotics builds on this foundation by adding hand-replacing capabilities through compound robots — creating a closed-loop system of perception, analytical decision-making, and operational execution — thereby addressing global labor shortages more comprehensively and at greater scale. RealMan's launch of a sub-RMB-10,000 robotic arm dramatically improves product accessibility and flexibility, particularly in new retail, food service, and education.
The GEN72 fundamentally reengineers robotic arm architecture: streamlined components and simplified framework significantly enhance durability and cost-effectiveness, most notably through its highly competitive sub-RMB-10,000 pricing. In form factor, the GEN72 employs extensive fluid curved surfaces for an overall rounded, safe, and gentle appearance, while featuring 7 degrees of freedom in a biomimetic structure that lays solid groundwork for humanoid robot development.

The GEN72 offers a 600mm effective working radius, 7 degrees of freedom, and 2kg payload capacity — sufficient to meet most application scenarios. Continuing RealMan's ultra-lightweight design philosophy, total weight is kept under 4.5kg, dramatically improving portability and flexibility.
The ECO62 is a compact, high-payload robotic arm combining excellent industrial performance to meet collaborative and rapid-operation needs in confined spaces; its streamlined, lightweight, and smooth exterior delivers intrinsic safety; compliant motion enables safe human interaction; it supports applications and customization across industrial, medical, commercial service, and education scenarios.

The ECO62 features a 355mm reach, maximum 2kg payload, and repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.05mm, delivering solid industrial performance for small-space collaborative tasks. With 6 degrees of freedom and a self-weight of just 3.25kg, it is nimble and adaptable to various industrial environments. The integrated design with controller built into the body enables simple installation and deployment, making it highly system-integration-friendly and easy to use.

On launch day, RealMan Intelligent also announced the Global GPR (General Purpose Robot) Open Source Alliance, partnering with AI ecosystem pioneers to release a mobile compound robot development platform and build an open-source robot function development platform for global users and developers. RealMan Intelligent will open-source for the first time capabilities including robotic multimodal perception large models, action planning and decision-making large models, spatial mobility, robotic arm control, and execution operations — accelerating the integration of robotic arms and robots into everyday life and households.
