On May 20, the 2021 "Investor TOP100" ranking was officially unveiled. The list was jointly initiated by PEDaily, China's entrepreneurship and investment professional portal under Zero2IPO, and Zero2IPO, with data support from the China Venture Capital and Private Equity Big Data Platform, PEdata. **Qin Liu, Founding Partner of 5Y Capital; 5Y Capital; and Yuan Ye, Partner at 5Y Capital, all made the list.**
On May 20, the 2021 PEDaily TOP 100 Investors list was officially unveiled. The ranking was jointly launched by PEDaily and Zero2IPO, with data support from Private Equity Information (PEdata), the Chinese venture capital and private equity database platform. Qin Liu, founding partner of 5Y Capital; 5Y Capital partner Zhang Fei; and 5Y Capital partner Yuan Ye all made the list.
The 2021 PEDaily TOP 100 Investors list also established the "King of Returns" award, designed to recognize the architects behind some of the highest-returning deals in Chinese venture capital history. 5Y Capital partner Zhang Fei took home the annual "King of Returns" crown.
The PEDaily TOP 100 Investors ranking has now been held for six consecutive years. PEDaily, Zero2IPO, and PEdata systematically compiled tens of thousands of investment data points from candidates over the past three years, comprehensively evaluating five major factors: number of personal investments, personal investment amounts, overall return levels, and the individual's and their institution's industry influence. From a pool of over 1,000 candidates, 100 outstanding investors were selected based on exceptional investment track records and significant contributions to advancing China's investment community.
