Horizon Robotics Helps BYD Accelerate Mass Adoption of Intelligent Driving
On February 28, BYD officially launched the Han EV Glory Edition, including the DiPilot Intelligent Driving AWD variant. This model uses Horizon Robotics Journey 5 — China's first 100+ TOPS computing solution purpose-built for advanced intelligent driving — building on L2+ intelligent driving assistance with further upgrades covering highway and urban expressway NOA navigation, plus AVP valet parking. As the world's first mid-to-high-end sedan equipped with Journey 5, the Han EV Glory Edition's launch marks an important milestone in the platform-based partnership between BYD and Horizon Robotics. XtalPi Unveils "Ailux Biologics" New Brand, Opening a New Chapter in AI-Driven Biologics Discovery
Today, XtalPi announced the creation of a new brand, "Ailux Biologics," built around the company's biologics discovery business line. Kuaishou Upgrades Starlight Short Drama Support Program
Kuaishou recently announced a newly upgraded "Starlight Short Drama" partnership plan, offering greater support for premium short dramas through revised revenue-sharing rules and commercial enablement. Starlight Short Drama is Kuaishou's flagship short drama brand. By the end of 2023, Kuaishou Starlight had launched nearly 1,000 short drama titles, with 326 exceeding 100 million views. Under the latest policy, Kuaishou will increase its co-investment share for quality short drama projects from a maximum of 40% to 50%, while providing platform-level resource support and dedicated one-on-one service throughout the production process, allowing creators to focus more fully on their craft.
Xmov and UBM Sinoexpo Enter Strategic Partnership
On February 22, Xmov and Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co. signed a strategic partnership agreement. UBM Sinoexpo founder and chairman Wang Mingliang, general manager Zhang Xueqiang, and Xmov founder and CEO Professor Chai Jinxiang attended and witnessed the signing. SenseTime Releases Updated SenseNova · SenseChat Large Language Model
On February 2, SenseTime released SenseChat V4, the general-purpose version of its SenseNova · SenseChat large language model. According to the company, this version delivers improved general capabilities in knowledge comprehension, reading comprehension, integrated reasoning, mathematics, coding, and long-text understanding, with support for context windows of 4k, 32k, and 128k tokens. On the authoritative HumanEval Coding benchmark, SenseChat V4 achieved a 75.6% one-shot pass rate, compared to GPT-4's 74.4%. Read more

Pony.ai's Next-Generation Vehicle Receives Fully Driverless Ride-Hailing Test Permit in Beijing
On February 2, a Toyota Sienna autonomous passenger vehicle equipped with Pony.ai's sixth-generation L4 autonomous driving hardware and software system was approved to begin autonomous ride-hailing demonstration operations in Beijing with "no safety driver inside, remote monitoring outside." Xpeng Motors and Volkswagen Group Sign Joint Development Agreement for Platform and Software Strategic Technical Cooperation
On February 29, Xpeng Motors and Volkswagen Group jointly announced that, following Xpeng's announcements on July 26 and December 6, 2023 regarding Volkswagen's acquisition of a 4.99% stake in Xpeng and the two parties' framework agreement for strategic technical cooperation, they have now signed a joint development agreement for platform and software strategic technical cooperation — marking a milestone in their strategic partnership. The agreement will not only accelerate the joint development of two B-class battery electric vehicles, but also lay a solid foundation for broader and deeper strategic cooperation between the two sides.
