Horizon Robotics Signs Strategic Partnership with BAIC Group
On February 24, Horizon Robotics and BAIC Group formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement to further strengthen collaboration in intelligent driving and jointly enhance the market competitiveness of homegrown brand products. Under the agreement, the two parties will jointly develop market-leading intelligent driving solutions. Based on Horizon's full range of Journey chips — Journey 2, Journey 3, and Journey 5 — BAIC Group will implement R&D and application of intelligent products across multiple homegrown brands, with the first mass-production cooperation model expected to launch this year. German Auto Parts Giant Partners with Hai Robotics to Build ACR Smart Warehouse
On February 20, renowned German auto parts brand Dräxlmaier and ACR (Autonomous Case-handling Robot) specialist Hai Robotics held the launch ceremony for their jointly built ACR smart warehouse in Shenyang. Hai Robotics deployed its HaiPick system with A42T telescopic lifting ACR robots and the HaiQ intelligent warehouse management platform according to customer needs. The A42T, equipped with an 8-layer back basket and reaching up to 7.4 meters, maximizes warehouse space utilization. The Shenyang ACR smart warehouse launch marks an important milestone in the partnership. Going forward, Dräxlmaier will continue working with Hai Robotics to implement more innovations in smart warehousing and logistics. Read more
Moore Threads MCCX Meta-Computing Integrated Server Makes Debut
On February 8, Lenovo held its server brand strategy and new product launch event in Beijing. As a Lenovo server partner, Moore Threads made its first showing of the MCCX meta-computing integrated server co-developed with Lenovo, demonstrating how its AIGC content creation platform MT Maliang runs smoothly on Lenovo servers equipped with Moore Threads' MTT S3000 multi-function GPU. The MCCX meta-computing integrated server is a general-purpose rackmount server designed to provide powerful yet accessible meta-computing power for the rich metaverse applications to come. With a system architecture and resource allocation optimized for AI, rendering, encoding/decoding, and other heavy meta-computing scenarios, it offers users a cost-effective hardware computing solution. Nowcoder Raises $50 Million in Series B Funding
Leading campus recruitment platform Nowcoder announced on February 24 that it has raised $50 million in Series B funding. The round was co-led by HSG, Shunwei Capital, 5Y Capital, Tiger Global Management, and Shenqi Capital (58 Industry Fund), with YiBai Capital serving as exclusive financial advisor. With a proven business model, high-quality student resources and word-of-mouth from the Nowcoder community, and recognition and service experience with over 1,500 well-known enterprises, Nowcoder secured backing from top global investors despite the funding winter — further confirming its leading position in the campus recruitment vertical. Share Creators Closes New Funding Round
San Francisco Bay Area-based startup Share Creators recently announced a new $5 million funding round, with 5Y Capital and PDF reader Foxit as investors. The proceeds will be used primarily to expand the customer base and accelerate business development in the US, Europe, and Asia. Founded in 2018, Share Creators has developed an intelligent digital asset management system that helps enterprises and teams intelligently manage all types of digital assets, improving asset usability across the full workflow to dramatically boost team productivity for organizations of all sizes. SenseTime Partners with Beidahuang to Unlock New Tech-Driven Agriculture Momentum
On February 28, as one of the first AI companies to join the Beidahuang Modern Agriculture Ecosystem Co-creation Platform, SenseTime signed a strategic cooperation with Beidahuang Information Co. SenseTime will leverage its AI infrastructure advantages and cross-industry empowerment experience, combined with Beidahuang's rich agricultural meteorological observation data, to jointly explore and implement multi-scenario AI applications in agricultural production — integrating digital and intelligent technologies to drive intelligent upgrading of the agriculture industry and unlock new momentum for tech-assisted farming. Shukun Technology's CT-FFR Product Receives NMPA Class III Certification
According to the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) website, on February 3, Shukun Technology's coronary CT angiography fractional flow reserve calculation software (Shukun-FFR) officially received NMPA Class III medical device registration certification. The software enables fully automatic assessment of fractional flow reserve at any position in coronary vessels. This marks another major breakthrough in clinical access for Digital Human technology-assisted clinical diagnosis, following approvals in coronary AI, stroke AI, thoracic oncology AI, and pneumonia AI. SGS and VisionNav Robotics Enter Strategic Co-creation Partnership
On February 15, SGS, a globally recognized testing, inspection, and certification organization, and VisionNav Robotics (Shenzhen) Co., a global leader in industrial unmanned vehicles, successfully held a strategic partner accreditation ceremony. Going forward, the two parties will deepen cooperation in testing, inspection, and certification, providing global quality and certification assurance for VisionNav's AGV/AMR, unmanned forklifts, unmanned tow tractors, and other intelligent logistics equipment — helping VisionNav enter global markets and enhance international brand competitiveness. Unknown and HaploX Enter Strategic Partnership
On February 6, HaploX and Unknown announced a strategic partnership, under which the two parties will collaborate on microbial product development. Under the agreed strategic framework, Unknown will advance scientific research and clinical work related to the human gut microbiome based on HaploX's expertise in tumor liquid biopsy and NGS testing, including applications of FMT (fecal microbiota transplantation) and gut microbiome in disease and health, with HaploX providing high-quality genetic testing services. The two parties will also pursue in-depth strategic cooperation in health product R&D and biomarker discovery and exploration for diseases. Read more
ReviR Therapeutics Partners with UroGen Pharma
On February 8, ReviR Therapeutics, a biotechnology company developing small-molecule drugs targeting RNA in oncology and genetic diseases, and UroGen Pharma, a global innovative pharmaceutical company focused on treating urogenital tumors, announced a partnership. The collaboration will leverage ReviR's self-developed AI drug discovery platform and RNA-targeting technology to jointly research innovative therapies for urogenital tumors and related major diseases, covering multiple tumor targets. Both parties expect the partnership to improve patient outcomes and advance treatment of related diseases. Read more
X-CoTA Enters Closed Beta: Driving the "Next-Generation Action Hub" with Logical Thinking
On February 20, XiaoIce Company's ChatGPT application "X-CoTA (X-Chain of Thought & Action)" launched a limited closed beta, becoming another made-in-China ChatGPT available for trial. XiaoIce CEO Li Di said, "This brief demo of X-CoTA's new features shows how an AI Being doesn't just reply to you, but presents her complete thought process transparently before your eyes, opening the black box of large models. Xiaomi Unveils Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition
At MWC 2023, Xiaomi officially unveiled the Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition.
