Syneron Bio today announced the completion of its Series B funding round.

Syneron Bio, a leading company in AI-driven macrocyclic peptide drug discovery, today announced the completion of its Series B financing. The round was led by an international biotech fund, with Decheng Capital and CDH Investments' VGC platform as co-leads. Follow-on investors included a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), Dymon Asia Ventures (an independent wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek), Qiming Venture Partners, BioTrack Capital, and a prominent industry-focused investment firm. Existing shareholders including AstraZeneca, LAV (Lilly Asia Ventures), Sinovation Ventures, 5Y Capital, Hillhouse (GL Ventures), Biotech Development Fund, and Lenovo Capital and Incubator Group also continued their support.
The proceeds will be primarily directed toward advancing the intelligent iteration of the company's proprietary macrocyclic peptide discovery platform, Synova™, and accelerating the progression of its diversified pipeline of innovative drug candidates into clinical stages.
