ZeniLev Pharma (赜灵生物) recently announced the completion of a nearly RMB 600 million Series C funding round. The round was co-led by True Light Capital, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek, and Qiming Venture Partners, with participation from Tencent, BlueRun Ventures, Jianfa Xinxing Venture Capital, and Shanghai Sci-Tech Innovation Fund. Existing shareholders 5Y Capital, Huajin Capital, Guosheng Capital, and Sichuan Science and Technology Venture Capital Group continued to increase their stakes.
Proceeds from this round will primarily support global clinical R&D, pipeline expansion, and technology platform upgrades. Specifically: First, global clinical development — accelerating two globally competitive hematology/oncology drug candidates currently in Phase III registrational trials while expanding into additional indications, and simultaneously initiating overseas clinical trials for multiple immunology and inflammation as well as central nervous system candidates to build international market presence. Second, pipeline expansion — advancing both indication expansion for existing assets and differentiated new-target molecular designs in parallel to continuously enrich and upgrade the innovative drug pipeline. Third, technology platform upgrades — further strengthening the synergy across three core technology platforms: ZeniFold, with its deep structural biology capabilities; ZeniMind, an AI-driven drug discovery and design engine; and ZeniScreen, a clinically relevant disease model screening platform — systematically enhancing end-to-end drug development capabilities.
