Trends 2023 | FreeS Fund China-US Venture Summit Opens Registration
Three livestreams and five offline salons — come join us!

When is the best time to start a company?
There's no definitive answer, but here's an interesting finding: many of today's most celebrated companies were born at moments that weren't exactly "good times" by conventional standards.
- In 1968, Intel was founded — a year of global upheaval that American author Mark Kurlansky called "The Year That Rocked the World."
- In 1995, BYD got its start, even as China's statistical yearbook noted that "some enterprises faced operational difficulties and poor economic performance."
- In 1998, Tencent was born while China was "working hard to overcome the severe difficulties caused by the Asian financial crisis and catastrophic flooding."
Looking at the present moment — whether you're overseas or rooted in China — we hope to walk the path of innovation and entrepreneurship alongside you. Starting in March, we're launching "Trends 2023: The FreeS Fund China-US Venture Capital Summit," featuring three online livestreams and five offline salons. We look forward to connecting with you virtually and meeting face-to-face.
Our speakers include Feng Shu (Li Feng) and FreeS Fund partners covering biotech, consumer & TMT, and hard tech investments, as well as founders building in diagnostic testing, drug delivery, content-tool SaaS, online psychological counseling, chip substrate materials, and LiDAR. Their talks will span macro trend analysis, hands-on experience in healthcare investing and tech entrepreneurship, and of course, discussion of the hottest topic of the moment — AIGC.
