▍FreeS 2020 Biomedical & Healthcare Venture Capital Summit — Livestream Episode 1 This Saturday

This Saturday, October 24, we kick off the FreeS 2020 Biomedical & Healthcare Venture Capital Summit — three livestreams and one seminar (hybrid online/offline) — continuing to decode the grand era of biomedical innovation.

The summit brings together scientists, industry experts, early-stage investors, and founders on the front lines. Speakers include Shao Feng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and biochemist; Shen Hong, head of Roche Shanghai Innovation Center; FreeS Fund's biotech investment team; and Lai Lipeng, founder of XtalPi, a leading AI drug discovery company. They'll dive into forward-looking trends in biotechnology, COVID-19 research and vaccine development, gene editing, pyroptosis, and other cutting-edge topics — charting the future of health in the post-pandemic era.

In the first livestream, Shen Hong of Roche Shanghai Innovation Center and Shen Jiong, partner at FreeS Fund, will discuss Post-Pandemic Pharmaceutical Innovation in China. Researchers, industry experts, and entrepreneurs in the healthcare space are welcome to register.

On October 17, Cyzone released its 2020 ranking of China's most founder-friendly venture capital firms, evaluating firms across four dimensions: fundraising (number and size of funds raised), investing (deal volume and scale), portfolio support (post-investment management systems and founder satisfaction), and exits (fund returns).
