▍"FreeS Fintech Venture Summit 2020" Still Open for Registration

From September to October, FreeS Fund is co-producing the "FreeS Fintech Venture Summit 2020" with Live Silicon Valley, CreditEase Wealth, and Plug and Play. The summit features four online live sessions (one already held) and one Fintech Open Day, covering topics of interest to fintech entrepreneurs including wealth management, financial enterprise services, payments/digital currency, and insurance.

On September 13, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Beijing time, the second session of the "FreeS Fintech Venture Summit 2020" will go live, exploring opportunities and challenges in fintech enterprise services.

Online live forums and the Fintech Open Day (hybrid online/offline) remain open for registration.

Fintech entrepreneurs, aspiring founders, and professionals and students in related fields are welcome to scan the QR code to register.

▍FreeS Healthcare Open Day Goes Live September 12 (Saturday)

At 9:30 AM Beijing time on September 12, we'll host a biotech-focused Open Day in Beijing. Since announcing the event, we've received hundreds of applications — thank you to everyone who applied. Due to limited venue capacity, we've sent emails to selected partners whose profiles align with the event direction — please check your inbox and join us.

Speakers for the day include Feng Shu (FreeS Fund founding partner Li Feng), who has spent a decade doing cross-border investment between China and the US; FreeS Fund executive director Wang Lei; FreeS Fund executive director Ma Rui; and three founders from the FreeS Fund family with overseas study and work experience:

• Zhang Yiling, founder of Longwood Valley, postdoctoral researcher at Harvard Medical School, MD in orthopedic medicine;
• Pan Yukun, founder of Biorion, PhD from Yale University;
• Xiao Yun, co-founder of Kinova, undergraduate from Peking University's Yuanpei Program in life sciences, previously served at Abbott, Wantai, Fresenius, STAGO, and other leading domestic and international healthcare companies.

▍Gene Therapy Closed-Door Forum on September 13 (Sunday)

We're resuming our gene therapy closed-door forum, previously postponed due to COVID-19.

The day after the biotech Open Day, on September 13 (Sunday) from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, we'll co-host the Gene Therapy: Opportunities and Future Trends Forum in Beijing with YHCC (Yale University China Healthcare Council) and BioWorld. We'll have in-depth discussions on the current state and latest advances in gene therapy, development opportunities, and entrepreneurship/investment prospects.
