In 1977, Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 launched into space, entrusted with a mission to expand humanity's frontier of space exploration. Over the past 40-plus years, the two Voyager probes explored Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, reshaping our understanding of the solar system. More than a decade ago, they crossed beyond our solar system, becoming the most distant human-made objects from Earth. At this very moment as you read this, they continue their fearless voyage through interstellar space.

Looking back at our own blue planet — in artificial intelligence, remarkable new models and applications have emerged that defy imagination; Apple's mixed reality (MR) headset may further propel us toward an era of "spatial computing"; biotech innovations continue to multiply and radiate into other industries; in medicine, First-in-Class drugs are opening up the world of rare diseases; in consumer goods, cross-disciplinary product innovations abound... At the intersection of technological breakthroughs, surging demand, and evolving industrial chains, there are still many more exploratory and forward-looking inventions and discoveries worth anticipating.
And early-stage investing means seeking out exceptional entrepreneurs in the global innovation and entrepreneurship landscape, accompanying and helping them transform exciting ideas into great enterprises that deliver both commercial and social value.
Since our founding, FreeS Fund has been searching for non-consensus yet imaginative projects, striving to discover new "rivers." Feng Shu (our founding partner) once shared internally: "We are not afraid to stand by our convictions. Even if we are the first to stand on the other side of the river, others will gradually join us."

Today, we officially launch the FreeS Explorer Program. If you are based overseas, curious and perceptive, pioneering in spirit, and skilled at spotting entrepreneurs who are catching the wave of change — you are the "Explorer" we are looking for. We welcome your application. We hope to discover entrepreneurs abroad together with you, and support them in returning to China, this dynamic land of commerce, to make their mark.

- Hosting the FreeS China-US Venture Capital Summit
- Hosting FreeS Open Day events for overseas venture capital professionals
- Running the North America Intern program continuously, with dozens of students with overseas backgrounds having interned at FreeS Fund
- Partnering with portfolio companies to organize campus recruiting in North America
- Bringing on multiple EIRs (Entrepreneurs in Residence) with overseas study and work experience

▍ Who are we looking for?
- Proactive and passionate, pioneering in spirit, responsible, willing to be a connector and catalyst, working with FreeS Fund to do valuable and innovative things
- Enthusiastic about participating in venture capital activities, familiar with the advantages of venture capital circles at home and abroad, eager to contribute to connecting China's and overseas venture capital ecosystems
- Based overseas, university students and researchers or with major tech company backgrounds, interested in investing or entrepreneurship
- Curious, with exposure to biomedicine and frontier technology, enjoying in-depth exchanges with top entrepreneurs and researchers
▍ What will you do?
- Monitor potential opportunity areas, engage in continuous learning and thinking, and be willing to share your insights
- Expand the overseas entrepreneur ecosystem network, comprehensively and broadly sourcing quality early-stage projects
- More importantly, the role of "Explorer" means you will have ample room to exercise your abilities. We expect you to leverage your strengths to empower the FreeS Fund ecosystem — expanding FreeS Fund's boundaries and reach, and adding value to portfolio companies
▍ What will you gain?
- Work alongside the FreeS Fund investment team, understanding early-stage investment logic and decision-making mechanisms, with direct reporting to FreeS Fund partners
- Deep interaction with FreeS Fund's portfolio services team, learning how to provide full-lifecycle empowerment for companies and accompany startups through their growth
- Participate in FreeS Fund's monthly research meetings, hearing investors share industry development trajectories and latest opportunities
- Connect with outstanding founders and discover the broader venture capital world
- Compensation + project sourcing incentives (if a project you recommend receives investment from FreeS Fund, you will receive corresponding incentives)
