On August 16, we turned five. Now, we want to invite those who firmly believe in China's innovation to join us for our sixth year. We're hiring investors focused on biotech, deep tech, and consumer/TMT in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen.

Five years since founding, FreeS Fund has evolved into a full-cycle fund management firm driven by early-stage investing, with active positions in growth and late-stage deals.

Our core sectors are consumer upgrading, deep tech, and biotech. Our portfolio includes Three Squirrels (Shenzhen Stock Exchange IPO), 360 Finance (Nasdaq IPO), Uber Global (NYSE IPO), QingTao Development, Unity, Huasheng Haoche, Saturnbird, Yifei Automation, CoreXVision, Onion Academy, Qingqing Education, Nuoxin Chuanglian, Singleron, XtalPi, Kayou Di, Shangyue, 2:10 Animation, Chicecream, and Papercut — among other innovative companies.

Over the years, our investment team has published dozens of deep-dive research reports totaling hundreds of thousands of words — sharing our thinking on cross-border e-commerce, virtual idols, manufacturing, SaaS, biotech, education, finance, cosmetics, coffee, and more.

Since the pandemic began, we've released over ten in-depth analyses on COVID-19's impact, examining how it's reshaping the business landscape and helping entrepreneurs identify opportunities in its wake.

Biotech Investor (VP or above, based in Beijing, Shanghai, or Shenzhen)

Job Description

• Think independently, research-driven: continuously track and analyze the biotech industry landscape, business models, and market dynamics to form independent investment theses;
• Conduct deep diligence into company operations and details, providing rigorous research support for investment decisions;
• Source and execute excellent early- and growth-stage biotech investment opportunities, with strong ability to identify potential deals and manage pipeline progress;
• Capable of producing industry insights and contributing to cross-functional team work.

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of experience at top-tier global biopharma companies in R&D, BD, or strategy;
• Deep understanding of the biopharma industry with extensive sector resources, capable of independently leading early- and growth-stage biopharma investments;
• For institutional biotech investors: overseas Ivy League PhD or domestic top-tier university PhD in biopharma-related fields preferred;
• Committed to a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning;

Deep Tech Investor (VP or above, based in Beijing, Shanghai, or Shenzhen)

Job Description

• Think independently, research-driven: continuously track and analyze semiconductors, chip sensors, robotics, industrial intelligence, hardware products, and related sectors, analyzing business models and market dynamics to form independent investment theses;
• Conduct deep diligence into company operations and details, providing rigorous research support for investment decisions;
• Source and execute excellent early- and growth-stage deep tech investment opportunities, with strong ability to identify potential deals and manage pipeline progress;
• Capable of producing industry insights and contributing to cross-functional team work.

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of R&D or manufacturing experience in semiconductors, chip sensors, robotics, or related industries at leading domestic or international companies;
• Original perspectives on the semiconductor industry and China's macro economy, with extensive sector resources and the ability to lead early- and growth-stage deep tech investments;
• Experience at leading smartphone, automotive, autonomous driving, hardware product, or IoT companies; overseas Ivy League PhD or domestic top-tier university PhD in electronics or computer science preferred;
• Committed to a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning;
• Smart, principled, responsible, diligent, proactive, kind, and genuine.

Consumer Investor (VP or above, based in Beijing, Shanghai, or Shenzhen)

Job Description

• Think independently, research-driven: continuously track and analyze new brands, new consumption trends, ACG culture, social platforms, and related directions, analyzing business models and market dynamics to form independent investment theses;
• Conduct deep diligence into company operations and details, providing rigorous research support for investment decisions;
• Source and execute excellent early- and growth-stage consumer investment opportunities, with strong ability to identify potential deals and manage pipeline progress;
• Capable of producing industry insights and contributing to cross-functional team work.

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of experience at leading domestic or international consumer goods, social media, content, or entertainment companies in product, operations, or strategy;
• Sharp market instincts and independent perspectives on China's macro economy, with extensive sector resources and the ability to lead early- and growth-stage consumer investments;
• Overseas Ivy League MBA or domestic top-tier university master's degree in business, economics, management, or media preferred;
