Zean completes $40 million Series A+ round to accelerate development of myeloid cell engager pipeline | BlueRun Ventures Family
Focusing on unmet clinical needs in major disease areas such as cancer and autoimmune diseases.

On April 23, 2025, LTZ Therapeutics (hereinafter "LTZ" or "the Company") announced it had oversubscribed its Series A+ round, raising $40 million. The round was led by new investor Wanwu Capital, with participation from BlueRun Ventures, 5Y Capital, Duxiu Capital, and the Follicular Lymphoma Innovation Institute. Existing shareholders Dragonstone Capital and Hillhouse added to their positions. Since its founding in 2022, LTZ has raised a cumulative $90 million.

LTZ focuses on unmet clinical needs in cancer, autoimmune diseases, and other major disease areas, developing novel immunotherapies based on its Myeloid Engager Platform. The newly raised capital will primarily support Phase I clinical studies for the Company's lead candidate LTZ-301, advance IND-enabling work for its second candidate LTZ-232 across broad solid tumor indications, and fuel early-stage R&D programs alongside global team expansion.
BlueRun Ventures stated:
LTZ is a global leader in myeloid engager companies. Its innovative platform effectively harnesses and activates tissue-resident myeloid cells as effector cells to achieve potent and safe killing of target cells, with validation across multiple clinically relevant models. The Company's lead program has completed its US IND, with the potential to deliver breakthrough therapeutic outcomes in oncology and autoimmune indications going forward. BlueRun has long focused on differentiated new modalities addressing substantial unmet clinical needs. The LTZ team's innovative capabilities and execution efficiency have left a deep impression on us, and we are optimistic about LTZ's growth potential in global markets.**
Dr. Jinze Li, Founder and CEO of LTZ, said:
"We sincerely thank our new and existing investors and partners for their strong support. This will powerfully advance our core pipeline into its next stage of clinical development. Our most advanced program, LTZ-301, is a first-in-class myeloid engager immunotherapy for relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma (r/r NHL). With its IND recently approved by the US FDA, the Company looks forward to formally initiating clinical studies for LTZ-301 and exploring the broad application prospects of our proprietary technology platform across pan-tumor and autoimmune disease indications."
On the Science
LTZ's R&D strategy deeply integrates Reverse Translational Science with profound understanding of tumor microenvironment (TME) biology, particularly myeloid cell biology. Macrophages are among the most abundant immune cell populations in the TME of various hematological and solid tumors. Therefore, effectively and safely mobilizing macrophages to kill target cells across multiple indications offers tremendous therapeutic potential and clinical value for broad patient populations. LTZ is independently developing an entirely novel Myeloid Engager Platform designed to enhance phagocytic function of macrophages and monocytes across different polarization states, forging a broad-spectrum immunotherapeutic barrier.
