AgiBot Lands Multimillion-Yuan Order from Fulin Precision, Marking Breakthrough in Industrial Embodied Intelligence at Scale | BlueRun Ventures Portfolio Headlines
China's First Large-Scale Commercial Order for Industrial Embodied Robots

Recently, AgiBot Innovation (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "AgiBot") and Fulin Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Fulin Precision") reached a project cooperation worth tens of millions of yuan. Nearly 100 Expedition A2-W units will be deployed at Fulin Precision's factory — marking China's first large-scale commercial order for embodied robots in the industrial sector, and the first global deployment of this category in intelligent manufacturing at scale. This signals that industrial embodied intelligence has officially transitioned from technology validation to large-scale commercial application. BlueRun Ventures was an early investor in AgiBot and has continued to increase its stake in subsequent rounds.

In July 2025, the first Expedition A2-W system completed a live demonstration of normalized industrial operations in Fulin Precision's production line feeding scenario, demonstrating a single-shift capacity of 1,000 tote boxes — successfully matching that month's full production schedule for a single line. This deployment of nearly 100 units represents a leapfrog upgrade from "single-factory pilot validation" to "multi-factory full-line coverage" for robotic tote de-palletizing and feeding applications: the robots' operational scope expanded from an initial 2 production line points to 15 feeding points across two core workshops — powertrain and reducer — handling raw material delivery for daily production capacity exceeding 500 units, while also managing automated empty tote recovery. The system completes nearly 10,000 box-handling actions per shift, serving as the core logistics link connecting the two workshops' production flows.
AgiBot's Expedition A2-W wheeled general-purpose robot is purpose-built for flexible intelligent manufacturing scenarios, applicable to tote de-palletizing/palletizing, transportation, loading/unloading, and other operations. The breakthrough innovation of this cooperation lies in constructing a deeply collaborative system through "embodied robot + AMR," where the embodied robot A2-W handles multi-layer rack tote placement and retrieval, while AMRs manage heavy-load full-pallet material transport within the workshop. Leveraging intelligent dispatching and dynamic material-call mechanisms from the production system, AMRs deliver materials from the picking room to line-side feeding points, where the embodied robot A2-W automatically identifies totes, autonomously adjusts its posture, and completes de-palletizing, feeding, and empty tote recovery — achieving full-process operation from material outbound, production line feeding, to empty tote recovery circulation. This system both leverages the embodied robot's generalized operation capability for totes and its self-adaptation to complex scenarios, while fully utilizing the AMR's efficiency advantages in long-distance, heavy-load transport — solving the pain point of traditional automation equipment's inflexible adaptation to multi-workshop, multi-category scenarios, and providing a directly replicable collaborative solution for tote de-palletizing/palletizing, transportation, and loading/unloading applications in manufacturing.

Meanwhile, the large-scale application of Expedition A2-W rests on three core technical breakthroughs: its multi-modal perception system enables real-time recognition of dynamic obstacles including personnel, equipment, and materials, ensuring safe human-robot collaborative operation; its dual-arm coordination and high-precision manipulation module adapts to totes of varying sizes and weights; and its autonomous error-correction algorithm ensures that the robot can self-recover operational flow during unexpected anomalies without human intervention.
Deng Yang, Director of Fulin Precision's Engineering Department, stated: "The Expedition A2-W's performance on the production line has exceeded expectations — it can autonomously adjust its grasping posture when facing improperly stacked totes, perform real-time obstacle avoidance when personnel pass through, and maintain zero-fault operation for nearly 10,000 actions per shift. Its anti-interference and error-correction capabilities far surpass traditional automation equipment. More importantly, it can help humans complete the repetitive, back-straining tote-handling work in workshops, allowing workers to focus on more valuable operations. As robots continue to be introduced and applied, industrial embodied intelligence is expected to reshape manufacturing production models and push industry intelligent transformation to a new stage. This project cooperation means that industrial embodied intelligence has ushered in large-scale commercial application, and also represents an upgrade in the industrial ecosystem cooperation between AgiBot and Fulin Precision. As robot application scenarios scale up, Fulin Precision, as a robot joint supplier, has already sensed the opportunities of industry transformation."
Wang Chuang, President of AgiBot's General Business Division, stated: "This commercial order of nearly 100 units with Fulin Precision not only validates the technological maturity of embodied robots, but also signifies manufacturing industry's recognition of their commercial value. We will treat this project as a benchmark case for large-scale application of industrial embodied robots, using the 'scenario penetration — data accumulation — technology iteration' deployment path to provide reference for more industrial scenarios including automotive manufacturing and 3C electronics."
