Limited investing experience? Not a problem.

  • You understand GenAI tech — you know what models can and can't do, and how to deploy them well in products. You can tell what's genuinely new versus old wine in new bottles

  • You have the gut feeling for "this is a great product"

  • AI founders / AI developers

  • You've done product / corp dev / strategy / business analytics at leading AI companies big or small

  • You love trying new products — you stayed up late playing with ChatGPT the day it dropped, you always preorder new AI hardware first

    Bottom line: don't just be a courier of insights. Go verify things hands-on

  • You've already built a network among the next generation of founders. Active in at least 10 mainstream AI communities / or you're the admin yourself; discovered at least 20 interesting projects on Jike / or you're a Jike influencer yourself; can reach out to authors of frontier papers to discuss ideas and technical approaches; or other self-defined ways of staying plugged in

  • You want to do investing, and you've already taken action

  • You often hold non-consensus views, you often have Aha Moments. You love new things — switching tracks or directions makes you go "Wow!" not "Oh No!"

  • You have your own convictions but are willing to be proven wrong. You get more energized by being challenged in a valuable way than by being agreed with

  • Six months of rapid growth + free exploration. Once you're past the onboarding phase, you start working on live deals alongside the team, gradually taking the lead on sourcing and evaluating people and projects
  • At least two rotations across different sector deals; at least two investor matching sessions where both sides choose, with 1-on-1 mentorship throughout
  • Here, everyone can be undefined and must grow steeply; you can have Mentors, Buddies, Sponsors... more importantly, be a good catcher for your own growth
  • We look forward to rebuilding the VC workflow with AI, even redefining VC itself

H, 20s: I used to be an AI ToC product manager. When the product didn't land well, I started doubting whether AI ToC could work. But then I saw some GenAI founders quickly build products that found PMF. So I wanted to come to VC to talk directly with these people, collaborate with them, see how they think about problems in the AI space, and together dig out the path for AI ToC applications to create value

Z, 30s: VC is a hypothesis-driven industry. You get to interact with smart people every day. The process of exploring exceptional people is also a process of exploring myself. Meeting great people matters, but knowing myself matters more. BlueRun has had ups and downs over 20 years — successes and lessons worth reflecting on — all real battle-tested experience. I'm standing on the shoulders of those 20 years
