BlueRun Ventures Angel Portfolio Company Zhijian Dynamics Closes RMB 2 Billion Financing Round, Accelerating the Path to Embodied Intelligence | BlueRun Family
Cracking the Complex Challenges in Embodied AI

Today, Simplexity Robotics officially announced for the first time that it has completed five consecutive funding rounds in less than six months, with total financing reaching 2 billion RMB — setting a new record in the embodied intelligence sector and making it the youngest unicorn in this space.
Simplexity Robotics' investors include BlueRun Ventures, Yuanjing Capital, HSG, Legend Capital, CASSTAR, and Gaorong Ventures among financial institutions, as well as strategic investors including a top-tier internet giant and Alibaba. BlueRun Ventures and the vast majority of existing shareholders have continuously increased their stakes across multiple rounds since their initial investment, demonstrating their trust and support for Simplexity Robotics through action.

BlueRun Ventures congratulates Simplexity Robotics on completing its new funding round. In just six months, the team rapidly assembled its early workforce and secured multiple follow-on rounds, while making significant progress across its model architecture, hardware development, and scenario deployment. The advances in model algorithms have been particularly notable — the team quickly launched its foundation model LaSTo, long-horizon task model Manual-VLA, and real-world reinforcement learning model Twin-RL. These cutting-edge models fully reflect Simplexity's innovative vision and engineering capabilities in building a model algorithm system. We are highly optimistic about the team's long-accumulated, systematic closed-loop capabilities spanning from academic frontiers to large-scale industrial deployment. We look forward to Simplexity Robotics continuing to advance hardware iteration and multi-scenario deployment in its next phase, bringing embodied intelligence from the lab to the real world faster.

Simplexity Robotics is an innovative technology company that starts from real-world scenarios, dedicated to building embodied intelligence products with high user value through high-ceiling unified models, efficient data closed-loops, and highly reliable robot hardware — ultimately empowering human development.
Simple is Scalable — the core philosophy of achieving the greatest through the simplest runs through Simplexity Robotics' technical architecture and product design. The company insists on solving complex problems in embodied intelligence through simple yet scalable methodologies.

Simplexity Robotics adheres to full-stack in-house development of both software and hardware. Through the approach of models defining hardware and software defining hardware, it has built a concise and efficient technical system centered on "Four Os" (one model, on device, one body, one hour).
Simplexity Robotics has developed an integrated model combining world models with VLA, achieving joint modeling, understanding, and generative prediction of language logic, visual semantics, 3D spatial structure, and robot states through a unified transformer. This enables higher-ceiling model architecture while reducing human design and achieving better scaling effects. To date, Simplexity Robotics has launched:
(1) LaSTo foundation model: The first to integrate world models' understanding and prediction of the physical world with VLA's fast-and-slow thinking, significantly enhancing efficient reasoning about physical world dynamics and solving the challenge of how robots "think while moving quickly";
(2) ManualVLA long-horizon task model: Built on LaSTo's powerful foundation, ManualVLA addresses how to enable robots to understand complex long-horizon tasks. The model can automatically generate multimodal "operation manuals" similar to those used by humans, starting from goal states — perfectly answering the question of how robots "think clearly before acting" (this paper has been accepted to CVPR 2026);
(3) TwinRL real-world reinforcement learning framework: When models possess reasoning and execution capabilities, the final key lies in enabling continuous evolution in the real world for true deployment. TwinRL expands the exploration space of real-world reinforcement learning through digital twins. Across multiple tasks, robots achieve 100% success rates in desktop areas in less than 20 minutes, solving the challenge of "how to make robots grow stronger on their own in the real world."
(Stay tuned — additional model research results will be released successively)
Insisting on full-stack in-house software and hardware development, on models defining hardware, on a single general-purpose body, and believing in the scale effects of data — this is Simplexity Robotics' response to how to solve the data closed-loop problem. Meanwhile, by deploying on-device computing with reserved additional算力 and implementing shadow mode for on-device training and model testing validation in user scenarios, Simplexity Robotics can effectively improve data generality and reusability, building an extremely efficient closed-loop system for data collection, training, testing validation, and deployment.
When it comes to embodied intelligence products, Simplexity Robotics equally insists on ultimate simplicity — simple deployment, simple use, simple maintenance. In Simplexity Robotics' view, ultimate simplicity reflects being user-value-centered and thinking more for users. Time is the greatest cost; users should not pay for complexity. Only by delivering value to users can the company itself become more valuable. Currently, Simplexity Robotics' first-generation self-developed body has already entered small-batch production and begun PoC validation.

Simplexity Robotics' development pace matches its funding pace. From its first employee onboarding to the debut of its first self-developed body prototype, Simplexity Robotics took only about 45 days. The company has achieved rapid advancement across all fronts at extraordinary speed.
Currently, the company has established a three-location strategic layout across Beijing, Shanghai, and Suzhou; built joint laboratories with top universities; launched its Global Innovation Center in Suzhou; continued advancing model R&D and translating it into product capabilities; successively completed two generations of bodies targeting B2B and B2C scenarios; achieved small-batch body production and fully initiated PoC validation; and completed five funding round closings within six months.
As Simplexity Robotics CEO Jia Peng stated, "Systematization is our differentiation." The mass production and deployment of embodied intelligence products is a systematic battle requiring integrated strategy, technology, brand, product, organization, and commerce. Simplexity Robotics' core team has personally experienced the most fiercely competitive and brutally iterative market environments, going through the entire journey from life-or-death struggles to counter-trend breakthroughs, ultimately completing full validation from 0 to 1 and from 1 to scale. They deeply understand the operational logic from top-level strategy to hands-on execution, inherently possessing extreme systematic operational capabilities honed by repeated market testing — knowing how to efficiently integrate resources, control costs and pace, and build lean, precise, and efficiently organized structures to achieve closed-loop core decision-making and execution systems.

Regarding specific deployment scenarios, Simplexity Robotics follows a progressive iteration path from closed to semi-open to fully open environments, first targeting closed scenarios such as factory floors, supermarkets, and logistics. The funds raised will be fully invested in training foundation models, body R&D and iteration, data collection, and core algorithm development, accelerating the scaled application of embodied intelligence technology across multiple scenarios.
Completing scenario expansion from factories to manufacturing and services, from domestic to overseas markets, continuously strengthening technological innovation and industrial cooperation, empowering the scaled deployment of the embodied intelligence industry with technology, and accelerating the scaled application of embodied intelligence technology across multiple scenarios.
With leading technological moats and top-tier team execution capabilities, Simplexity Robotics has become an emerging force in the embodied intelligence sector. The company will continue to strengthen technological innovation and industrial ecosystem cooperation, empowering the scaled deployment of the embodied intelligence industry through technological innovation, steadily advancing toward general embodied intelligence, and helping China secure a leading position in the global general intelligence and robotics fields.
