BlueRun Ventures Continues to Double Down: Early-Stage Startup Keyi Tech Closes RMB 100 Million+ Funding Round | BlueRun Family
Achieving Efficient AI-Human Emotional Synergy

Recently, Beijing Keyi Technology completed a new funding round totaling over 100 million RMB. The round was co-led by Wuzhong Financial Holdings and Yuanhe Taihu Bay, with existing investor BlueRun Ventures continuing to invest, and Cornerstone Capital, Wanqiang Li, and other institutions and investors participating. The proceeds will primarily fund the company's ongoing R&D into robotic emotional interaction model technology, mass production and market promotion of new products, and recruitment of top AI talent. Keyi Technology was founded in 2014 as an innovative company focused on interactive robot R&D and manufacturing. Its self-developed emotional interaction model deeply integrates multiple cutting-edge technologies to enable efficient AI-human emotional linkage, establishing itself as a foundational technology in human-machine emotional interaction that leads industry development and is capable of large-scale deployment. The company has raised multiple rounds of funding since its founding. BlueRun Ventures was Keyi Technology's Pre-A round investor and has participated in several subsequent rounds.

Keyi Technology's first home companion robot, Loona, combined cute design with practical functionality, achieving impressive results with $4 million in sales within 45 days of its 2022 Kickstarter launch. To date, sales have reached over 150 countries and regions globally, with cumulative sales approaching 100,000 units.
Loona integrates biomimetic movement, visual perception, and natural language understanding and expression. Through its high-definition RGB camera, it can accurately recognize family members and deliver emotionally interactive feedback, with facial expression and gesture recognition accuracy of up to 95%. Equipped with a 3D ToF sensor, it proactively senses surrounding obstacles, provides real-time feedback, and plans movement routes. Through touch sensors, Loona responds to petting, fist bumps, and other interactions. Deeply integrated with the latest AI large language models, it quickly answers everyday questions and can analyze history, explain science, and enrich daily life.
Loona enables rich emotional interaction, entertainment, offline communication, remote monitoring, laser tracking, and other functions, while also supporting graphical programming education. It is widely applicable in smart home scenarios including youth education and companionship for children and the elderly.

Keyi Technology is committed to advancing human-machine interaction technology, deeply integrating AI with robotics, and building different types of robot products around users' life scenarios to create an ubiquitous AI robot ecosystem. Following this funding round, the company will unveil the world's first desktop assistant robot, Loona Deskmate, at CES 2026, further expanding its product ecosystem. Yingji learned that Loona Deskmate is precisely positioned for personal office scenarios, providing each user with a robot assistant that feels alive. Powered by the emotional interaction model, it can truly understand your emotional intentions without requiring wake words — like a little assistant always by your side, communicating and interacting with users naturally and vividly, providing emotional value. When working, it transforms into a secretary that knows you best, helping users manage schedules, reply to emails, handle daily tasks, and even serve as a meeting assistant.
It is also an all-in-one desktop workstation, offering up to 180W GaN fast charging and Qi2-certified magnetic charging. Such a versatile desktop assistant robot is poised to redefine what a desktop robot hit product can be — stay tuned!
