BlueRun Ventures Leads RMB 100 Million Angel Round for DeepVantage Intelligence | BlueRun Family
Creating Accessible, Empathetic Object Intelligence

Chinese embodied intelligence robotics company Suzhou Sensing Robotics Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Sensing Robotics") recently announced the completion of a 100-million-yuan angel funding round. The round was led by BlueRun Ventures, with existing investor Particle Future continuing to participate.

Lead investor BlueRun Ventures stated: The Sensing Robotics team brings years of product experience and technical expertise in embodied intelligence, autonomous driving, and human-computer interaction innovation. Founder Tao Wang has also gone through the full arc from cutting-edge research at a world-class university, to frontier tech entrepreneurship in Silicon Valley, to industry experience at a top domestic tech giant. We are very optimistic about the team's approach of entering the general-purpose home service robot market through the innovative product form of outdoor companion robots. Using top-tier algorithms to reshape product experiences — from perceiving the world to providing warm companionship — the consumer-facing market for embodied intelligence has tremendous potential ahead.

Founded in April 2024, Sensing Robotics is dedicated to creating accessible, empathetic physical intelligent agents, with a focus on outdoor companion robots. Its first product features a dual-wheel-legged design, targeting companionship and human-computer interaction needs in complex outdoor environments. The company stated that this funding round will primarily go toward increasing R&D investment, driving product innovation and core team building, and accelerating mass production targeted for end of 2026.
Public information shows that Sensing Robotics founder Tao Wang graduated from Stanford University with a degree in artificial intelligence, studying under Professor Andrew Ng. In 2015, he co-founded autonomous driving company Drive.ai and served as R&D and Engineering Director. In 2019, he joined Xpeng Motors as head of the visual perception team, leading perception technology support for features including Highway NGP and City NGP, and later served as Innovation Strategy Director at Xpeng's robotics company, PXSmart.
