BlueRun Ventures Portfolio Company Tian Cheng Technology Closes Another 100-Million-Yuan B+ Round to Accelerate the "Human-Machine Fusion" Era of Exoskeleton Consumerization | BlueRun Family
Making the leap from "rehabilitation tool" to "enhancement partner."

Recently, Hangzhou RoboCT Technology Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "RoboCT") announced the completion of a Series B+ financing round worth over 100 million RMB, marking the company's second consecutive funding round within a year. This round was led by ABC Capital, with follow-on investments from Huichuan Production Investment and Hangzhou Capital. The proceeds will be primarily allocated to expanding domestic and international markets for consumer-grade exoskeletons, advancing embodied intelligent exoskeleton R&D, securing regulatory approval for new brain-computer interface products, and building out distribution networks — further driving large-scale adoption of exoskeleton robots in consumer and rehabilitation care applications.
BlueRun Ventures was the sole investor in RoboCT's Series A round and also participated in its Series A+ round.

Exoskeleton robots are gradually breaking out of traditional medical rehabilitation and rapidly penetrating mass consumer scenarios. Industry data shows that the global wearable exoskeleton market reached $1.76 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow to $30.56 billion by 2032, representing a compound annual growth rate exceeding 43%. In China, the exoskeleton robot market is expected to hit 4.2 billion RMB in 2025, outpacing global growth. From scenic-area walking assistance rentals to home health aids, consumer-grade exoskeletons are integrating into daily life in diverse forms, ushering in a new phase of "human augmentation for all."
RoboCT founder Tian Wang noted: "The essence of exoskeletons is extending human physical capabilities. Just as drones evolved from professional use to mass consumer products, exoskeletons will gradually cover all types of human activity scenarios, transforming from 'rehabilitation tools' to 'enhancement companions.'"

In an increasingly competitive consumer-grade market, RoboCT has built a flexible, scalable product platform based on full-stack self-developed capabilities. The company has accumulated over 500 intellectual property rights and achieved comprehensive autonomy in core components and algorithms. Recognized for its outstanding technological innovation and industry leadership, RoboCT was named a national-level "Little Giant" specialized and sophisticated enterprise in 2025.
Targeting China's emerging senior care consumer market, RoboCT launched its SwiftWalk hip-assist exoskeleton robot series, designed specifically for elderly walking assistance, community rehabilitation, and everyday light support — truly making wearable exoskeletons a daily companion for older adults.
Meanwhile, Ascentiz, the company's new assistive exoskeleton brand for overseas markets, raised over $2.5 million from more than 3,000 backers in just 45 days on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter, demonstrating strong product appeal and market validation. Ascentiz is the world's first modular wearable assistive exoskeleton robot, supporting developer mode, full-dimension customization, and reserved expansion interfaces for VR, AI, and more — continuously upgrading its "hardware + services" capabilities.

In the medical rehabilitation field, RoboCT has established a complete product matrix, having served over 920,000 patient sessions cumulatively. The company collaborates with top-tier institutions including Xuanwu Hospital and Huashan Hospital on clinical research for "neural interfaces + exoskeleton" synergistic therapy, successfully helping multiple patients regain walking ability. This medical-grade technology and data accumulation provides a solid foundation for the human-machine coordination precision and scenario adaptability of consumer products, enabling the company's successful strategic transformation from medical rehabilitation to consumer applications. Its selection as a national-level "Little Giant" enterprise also represents authoritative recognition of RoboCT's achievements in core technology autonomy and filling critical gaps in the industrial chain.

RoboCT integrates AI large models with high-precision sensing technology to achieve 100 human signal captures per second, with response times under 0.05 seconds and recognition accuracy reaching 98.7%. The AI system can learn user habits and dynamically adjust assistance strategies, delivering intelligent, personalized experiences across both medical and consumer scenarios.
Committed to an exoskeleton technology platform development philosophy, RoboCT continues to deepen its presence across five core scenarios: health, entertainment, transportation, logistics, and safety. The company's products have already been deployed in ground handling systems at multiple international airports, significantly improving operational efficiency and human-machine collaboration.
Looking ahead, RoboCT will continue to cultivate both professional and civilian markets, driving exoskeletons' evolution from functional devices toward intelligent, universally accessible human-machine fusion platforms — dedicated to making them "human augmentation companions" that broadly cover daily activities and professional scenarios. Through continuous expansion of technological boundaries and ecosystem partnerships, RoboCT aims to make exoskeletons an integral part of empowering every individual and expanding physical potential and life possibilities, truly achieving harmonious coexistence between technology and humanity.
RoboCT founder and CEO Dr. Tian Wang stated: "I sincerely thank all our new and existing shareholders for their trust and support, as well as our financing partner Healthjoy Capital. RoboCT's growth and technological breakthroughs have always reinforced each other. It is precisely this dedication to innovation and respect for user needs that enables us to respond quickly to market changes and build products that stand up to scrutiny. Going forward, we will continue to pursue our mission of 'technology empowering the human body,' leveraging our extensible technology platform to connect with more ecosystem partners and bring exoskeleton technology to more scenarios, truly realizing 'enhancing the possibilities of every individual.'"
