BlueRun Ventures portfolio company Bluecore Tech announces completion of Series C+ funding round to accelerate 3D vision-enabled robotics industrial layout | BlueRun Family
Robots with visual perception capabilities will become critical infrastructure for the intelligent society of the future.

On May 7, 2025, Hangzhou Lanxin Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Lanxin Technology") officially announced the completion of its Series C+ funding round, led by Kunpeng Fund, raising several hundred million RMB.
BlueRun Ventures was the lead investor in Lanxin Technology's Series A round and has continued to increase its stake in subsequent rounds.
Currently, Lanxin Technology's product portfolio covers 3D vision sensors, mobile robots, humanoid robots, core components for mobile robots, and intelligent software systems. This funding round will be directed primarily toward deepening R&D of 3D vision sensors, tackling AI technology challenges for humanoid robots, and upgrading its global supply chain and service infrastructure.

Lanxin Technology is a pioneer and leading brand in China's 3D vision-enabled mobile robotics space. Public records show the company was founded in 2016, with core team members hailing from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, and well-known robotics firms — a research bench that can only be described as formidable. In the critical technology development for mobile robots, Lanxin Technology was the first Chinese company to develop and achieve scaled commercial deployment of 3D vision perception technology for mobile robots.
While most industrial mobile robot manufacturers remain mired in a sea of homogenized competition, Lanxin Technology broke the laser radar "monopoly" in mobile robotics with its 3D vision perception technology. This technology effectively gives mobile robots a "smart eye," dramatically enhancing their ability to visually perceive three-dimensional environments and helping Lanxin Technology stand out in an intensely competitive market. A closer look at the company's technology trajectory reveals an impressive record:
- In 2022, Lanxin Technology was named to Hangzhou's "quasi-unicorn" enterprise list;
- In 2023, its self-developed project High-Resolution, Large-Field-of-View 3D Vision Sensor R&D and Industrialization (the core LX-MRDVS® mobile robot deep vision system) was selected for Zhejiang Province's "Pioneer" and "Leader" R&D initiative;
- In 2024, its SMT loading/unloading robot based on the deep vision system was certified as Zhejiang Province's first (set) of major equipment; the company was designated a national-level "Little Giant" specialized and innovative enterprise; and in August, it launched VersaBot, the world's first "pure vision" humanoid robot.
3D vision perception technology is regarded as the "golden key" to unlocking the era of intelligent robotics. Whether humanoid robots, quadruped robots, or other biomimetic robots, only with environmental perception capabilities can they truly adapt to complex scenarios and serve humanity — giving this technology immeasurable commercial prospects.

Building on its technological advantages, Lanxin Technology has formulated a "One Body, Two Wings" development strategy and constructed a distinctive internal industrial ecosystem: MRDVS (Mair Micro Vision) → VMR (Weimair) → MRS (Lanxin Robotics System).
The "One Body" — MRS (Lanxin Robotics System). Using 3D vision-enabled mobile robots as its primary platform, it integrates multiple types of automated production equipment to provide manufacturing industry clients with "machine replacement" solutions.
The "Two Wings" — MRDVS and VMR. MRDVS focuses on 3D vision sensor R&D, providing mobile robots with integrated hardware-software solutions combining 3D vision and AI algorithms. VMR, in turn, integrates MRDVS's 3D vision and AI algorithms to develop 3D vision-enabled mobile robots including humanoid robots, core control modules, and robot fleet scheduling systems, offering intelligent mobile robot products to system integrators, end enterprises, research institutions, and universities.
Thanks to this strategy, Lanxin Technology has maintained rapid revenue growth, with a compound annual growth rate exceeding 80% from 2019 to 2024.

Today, global manufacturing is accelerating its digital and intelligent transformation; machine replacement has become an inevitable trend in industrial upgrading. Meanwhile, demand for humanoid robots in healthcare, home care, elder care, and office settings is growing increasingly urgent. Robots equipped with visual perception capabilities will become critical infrastructure for the intelligent society of the future.
Gao Yong, founder and CEO of Lanxin Technology, stated: "We reject 'assembly-style innovation' and insist on full-stack independent R&D from underlying sensors to system algorithms. This funding round will ensure we maintain generational technology leadership and build a more agile robotics supply chain network. We hope to leverage capital market strength to accelerate technological innovation and industrial deployment, driving deep application of 3D vision-enabled mobile robots and humanoid robots in intelligent manufacturing, as well as expanded application in healthcare, home care, elder care, and office settings."
To accelerate its 3D vision-enabled robotics industry layout, Lanxin Technology is not only increasing R&D investment in core technologies and humanoid robots but also moving aggressively on supply chain construction. Recent developments show the company has established a second operations center and manufacturing base in Gui'an New Area. With smart manufacturing bases in both Huzhou and Gui'an New Area, Lanxin Technology's continuously strengthening supply chain capabilities will provide customers with more efficient and stable product and service support.
It is reported that Lanxin Technology has already put IPO planning on its corporate agenda and is expected to become China's first listed "3D vision-enabled robotics" company — something worth watching.
