ClawCon's China Debut: A Week of Immersive AI with BlueRun Ventures and muShanghai

In Shanghai, Witnessing a Collective Resonance Among AI Creators

In May, Shanghai will host a high-density AI Co-Creation Week —

On April 28, global founder community TheMu announced that muShanghai AI Week will officially kick off on May 11, with its opening event being the ClawCon thousand-person conference — also the first time OpenClaw's official conference lands in China.

ClawCon is a global technical conference centered on the open-source AI agent project OpenClaw, focusing on the practice, ecosystem development, and future trends of AI agent technology. It gathers developers, technical experts, and AI founders through relaxed, high-intensity, hands-on offline gatherings.

Beyond ClawCon, this muShanghai AI Week will also feature AI large model meetups, AI safety exchanges, consumer product showcases, an AI maker market, and more... muShanghai is bringing together developers, researchers, founders, and communities from diverse backgrounds to collide ideas, methods, and products for the next generation of AI.

As an important institutional supporter of muShanghai events, BlueRun Ventures is delighted to be part of this.

We have always believed that truly important technology waves don't just happen in labs and conference rooms — they also happen in developer communities, product trenches, and the continuous hands-on work of creators on the front lines.

China's AI and technology development is approaching a historic moment.

Tech assets are being revalued, global capital and technical attention are swinging back, and Chinese technical talent and founders are stepping onto the world stage at scale — becoming critical nodes connecting different ecosystems.

At the same time, Chinese AI models are rapidly going global. In developer communities like Reddit, more and more overseas users are actively discussing and using domestic large models — word of mouth and actual usage spreading in tandem.

May's muShanghai AI Week, opening with the ClawCon thousand-person conference, will gather AI talent from diverse Eastern and Western backgrounds, letting perspectives and methods, intuition and ambition collide. Come join us — let's create the new AI organisms of the future!

Don't just watch from the sidelines. You must become a variable in history.

The opening of May's AI Week is the ClawCon thousand-person conference — also the first time OpenClaw's official conference comes to China, co-hosted by muShanghai with Volcano Engine as chief sponsor and cross-border payment platform PayerMax as co-sponsor.

OpenClaw is the hottest open-source project worldwide in 2026. We extended an invitation to founder Peter in March, and he expressed strong interest in coming to China.

So on May 11, you'll meet many core contributors from the OpenClaw community — some are the soul figures of the community ecosystem, some are technical geeks who supposedly burn through a house's worth of tokens in a year, and there are ClawCon organizing teams from Spain, Korea, and beyond...

Developers from around the world will exchange ideas face-to-face and discuss frontier AI technology trends. As OpenClaw's China market debut, everyone is welcome to co-create!

Vincent Koc

Ranked #2 globally in OpenClaw code contributions, he will break down the evolution logic of the agent core library for his long-term remote collaborators in China.

OpenClaw Foundation member and well-known Silicon Valley investor Dave Morin will represent the foundation at the conference, engaging with China's developer ecosystem in depth for the first time.

🦞 Lobster Market

x Epic Connector

Bring out the cool things you've built with OpenClaw — whether software or any form of agent-driven hardware — and show off your muscles here.

Outstanding projects will have the opportunity to participate in the Demo Show hosted by OpenClaw at the main venue, be invited to the After Party for in-depth exchanges with the core team, and potentially gain attention from the OpenClaw Foundation for global ecosystem promotion.

🧪 Skill Lab

x DataWhale & Volcano Engine Hands-On Lab

Since the "little lobster" was born, the number of Skills has exploded — already surpassing 50,000. At the event, we've set up two Skill-themed activities.

  • Veterans welcome: What interesting and useful god-tier Skills have you written? Come to Mount Hua for a sword duel! This exchange session initiated by DataWhale reserves spots specifically for the pros — come break down your thinking and share your insights, letting your good ideas be seen by more people!

  • Newbies don't panic: Haven't learned to write Skills yet? No problem! On-site there's the "Volcano Engine Hands-On Lab," teaching you step-by-step how to build your own Skill from scratch. You just need to bring your laptop.

Thursday, May 14 — we're bringing in MiniMax to share how multimodal large models are landing in AI consumer apps, plus their thinking behind it. And we've got some fascinating young AI founders who'll talk through the important "why" behind their products — hardware-software integration, heavy interactivity, real experience, no lecturing.

MiniMax Keynote + Fireside Chat

Speaker:

Wen Feng

Head of Open Platform Product, MiniMax

Since joining MiniMax in 2023, Feng has led and driven multiple large-model deployment projects across industrial scenarios, building extensive hands-on experience in large-model engineering and Agent technology applications.

Before MiniMax, Feng worked at ByteDance as an internet industry solutions specialist, with a long-term focus on the practical application and solution design of AI technology across diverse business contexts — bringing deep technical insight and industry execution capability.

When Music Meets Vibe Coding

Your heart rate rhythms, glucose curves, EEG signals, blood biomarkers, epigenetic data — they're all quietly speaking. We'll gradually weave these signals together into a progressive "five-layer monitoring system":

Strudel Workshop by Jiafeng Gao

Cross-disciplinary artist Jiafeng Gao will demonstrate, using Strudel — a JavaScript-based live music programming environment — how to perform music in real time through vibe coding powered by AI, offering a new approach to "building" music with natural language.

Vibing Art by Vrch

The Vrch team has packed their agentic VJ into a pocket-sized audiovisual interaction app: VibingArt. On-site, they'll launch a new wave of Vibe Live Club Party Jam sessions — bring your instruments, synths, or create live-coded music via strudel.vibelive.club, then vote live for the "Most Vibe," "Most Glitched," and "Most Brain-Bending" creations.

Vibethon — Vibe Coding Extreme Showdown

One prompt, ten minutes, no code — just talk. Contestants have a natural-language conversation with AI, livestreamed, while the audience watches a product go from a single prompt to something actually usable, then votes. Best vibe wins. Nobody cares how clean your code is; it's about whether your idea has vibe. What gets built can be played with on the spot, and anyone can remix it into their own thing. If you can talk, you can compete. If not, pull up a chair and watch.

2-Hour Extreme Mini-Game Jam! Brainwaves and Adrenaline 💡

The Twelve Nautical Miles editorial team's AI Society is hosting a zero-experience, AI-powered mini-game jam: some participants have used agent tools before, but most are complete beginners at "making games." This time, we're leveraging agents like Coze to let people turn their ideas into playable games through natural language alone.

FateTell — Decode Your BaZi, Shape Your Fate

Life is a precise algorithm. FateTell is packing Eastern wisdom into integrated hardware-software modern technology, stripping away the opaque cultural shell and reducing the metaphysical substrate to a precise science of time and energy — helping you re-understand yourself and others.

In this blind-box era where even the people making the AI waves are nearly drowning in them, the most moving details are never burning tokens. They're the restraint of Eastern philosophy, the systematic exploration to decode "impermanence." Getting read access to fate is ultimately about unlocking write access: know your fate, then make it.

On-site, we'll directly deconstruct and present this Eastern model.

On Friday, May 15, together with the "Dianping" of AI products — Guancha — we're hosting the world's first AI demo fair bringing together Chinese and overseas AI developers in one place.

Get your AI demo off localhost. Step away from work and "touch some fish." The most interesting products will win the crowd, voted best "stranger appeal."

No slide decks. No fundraising talk. No benchmark flexing. Just one standard:

Would the AI you made stop a random passerby for 5 minutes of play?
