Omdia Report: AgiBot Tops Global Humanoid Robot Shipment Rankings | BlueRun Ventures Portfolio Headlines

Leading the way in global commercial deployment

Global market research firm Omdia recently released its General Embodied Robotics Market Radar report, offering a systematic analysis of 2025 global humanoid robot market trends, key commercial metrics, and overall technical capabilities. The report shows Chinese manufacturers leading globally, with AgiBot ranking first worldwide in both 2025 shipment volume and market share. BlueRun Ventures was an early investor in AgiBot and has continued to increase its stake in subsequent rounds. Congratulations to AgiBot on reaching the top of the global rankings.

The report notes that the global humanoid robot market entered a rapid growth phase in 2025, with total annual shipments expected to reach 13,000 units. Chinese manufacturers stood out in scaled mass production and shipment volume, with AgiBot delivering over 5,100 units annually, capturing 39% of global market share — ranking first worldwide in both shipment volume and market share.

AgiBot has now built a multi-form product portfolio covering full-size, half-size, and wheeled configurations, with commercial deployments across entertainment and commercial performances, guided tours and retail assistance, industrial manufacturing, scientific research and education, and data collection and training — completing the transition from technology validation to batch delivery.

Omdia employed a heat map model to comprehensively evaluate leading global manufacturers across eight dimensions: product form factor, payload performance, dexterous manipulation, perception and navigation, AI learning, customization ease, scaled mass production, and scaled commercial deployment. AgiBot received the highest rating (Advanced Capability) in six of these eight dimensions, making it the manufacturer with the most top ratings in this assessment.

The report highlights that the deep integration of generative AI and robotics technology is driving robots to evolve from executing preset tasks toward "general embodied intelligence" capable of autonomous learning and environmental adaptation. AgiBot, Unitree, and Tesla, as the "first tier" of global humanoid robot manufacturers, are actively accelerating industry development. Omdia predicts that the humanoid robot market will see exponential growth over the next decade, with global shipments potentially reaching 2.6 million units by 2035.
