RayViz Technology Completes Tens of Millions of RMB in Series A2 Funding | BlueRun Ventures Portfolio

Make the distant horizon sharper.

Recently, Shanghai Ruishi Health Technology Co., Ltd. ("Ruishi Technology") announced the completion of a tens of millions of RMB Series A2 funding round, with Jinke JunChuang as the sole investor. The proceeds will be directed toward core product R&D iteration, accelerated registration of Class III medical devices, and market channel expansion. At the VisionChina2025 International Forum on Innovative Development of Visual Health, Ruishi Technology jointly released two group standards with the Affiliated Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University: Technical Specifications for Distance-Image Electronic Display Terminals and Visual Health Technical Requirements for Display Products — Distance-Image Electronic Display Terminals. This further solidifies the company's position as an industry standards setter, marking its transition from technology innovator to rule maker. BlueRun Ventures led Ruishi Technology's Series A round.

Founded in 2017, Ruishi Technology has developed proprietary AI-powered opto-neuro modulation technology, integrating artificial intelligence, optical engineering, neuroscience, and clinical optometry. The company focuses on key dimensions including dynamic defocus, photobiology, myopic defocus, and contrast, developing digital modulation tools that drive iteration and innovation in distance-image technology and comprehensive myopia management digital solutions. Its product lineup includes the Vision Trainer D1, Vision Trainer MAX 2.0, and Distance-Image Light Screen PLUS 2.0 — all self-developed distance-image products built on the company's original distance-image light defocus digital technology system. Using digital display devices as the carrier, these products employ proprietary optical hardware and software to digitize and personalize optical defocus, LCA (longitudinal chromatic aberration), and contrast, enabling targeted modulation of visual pathways. Unlike traditional distance-viewing devices that merely alleviate visual fatigue through physical image distance extension, Ruishi Technology's technology deeply integrates its products into the high-frequency visual scenarios of children's daily lives, seamlessly transforming screen time into an eye protection process. This substantially improves children's compliance and convenience of use, effectively slowing the onset and progression of juvenile myopia — achieving a breakthrough from "passive relief" to "active modulation."

Ruishi Technology Dashu Tongtong D1 (Dynamic Digital Defocus Edition)

Ruishi Technology has conducted multi-center clinical studies on its distance-image light defocus digital technology. Cumulative trials exceeding 1,000 cases at authoritative institutions including Beijing Tongren Hospital (Capital Medical University) and the Affiliated Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University demonstrate that the products significantly slow myopic refractive progression and effectively control axial length elongation, with clinical outcomes superior to traditional single-focus lenses and defocus lenses. For example, one-year clinical trial results from Beijing Tongren Hospital showed a 50% axial shortening rate in the combined treatment group, an 80% myopia reduction rate in the experimental group, and even cases of low-degree myopia reversal. A real-world study of nearly 200 cases over six months found mean axial length changes of 0.038mm in the experimental group versus 0.125mm in the control group. The distance-image light screen combined protocol showed significant axial elongation delay averaging 70.7% compared to defocus lenses alone, with refractive regression observed in the experimental group at six months. These data not only validate technical efficacy but also serve as core evidence for product registration and market promotion. The company is currently advancing long-term studies to verify safety and sustained effects with extended use, building a complete trust framework from clinical data to academic certification through its top-tier expert team.

As a pioneering innovator in domestic juvenile myopia prevention and control, Ruishi Technology plays a central role in driving industry standardization. On June 13, 2025, Ruishi Technology co-hosted the release conference for the two group standards with the Affiliated Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University at the Xi'an International Conference Center, aiming to provide scientific foundations for distance-image display technology and advance industry standardization.

This marks China's first standards specifically targeting the distance-image technology segment, establishing Ruishi Technology's technical solution as the industry benchmark.

This funding round will focus on two strategic directions: (1) Medical qualification breakthrough: Advancing Class III medical device registration to enhance product medical attributes and raise market entry barriers. (2) Technology iteration and scenario expansion: Deepening exploration of light signal modulation mechanisms on brain-visual neural pathways, expanding composite functionality of "eye protection + learning efficiency enhancement" to cover the full 3-18 age range. Concurrently, the company plans an integrated online-offline channel strategy to build a closed-loop "detection-training-feedback" service system. Products have already reached 400+ cities nationwide, with presence in 600+ professional institutions. Dr. Jun Yao, founder of Ruishi Technology, stated: "Through AI-driven integrated medical-grade digital intelligence solutions combining 'eye-brain phototherapy + precision learning,' Ruishi is redefining adolescent health and education scenarios, providing scientific digital myopia prevention and control for children and adolescents, as well as full lifecycle digital eye health management — enabling 170 million children and adolescents to live free from myopia worries and learning worries."
