Congrats to Galaxy Universal and VITURE!
Recently, Silicon Valley's leading tech publication The Information released its 2024 "50 Most Promising Startups" list (The Information's 50 Most Promising Startups, or TI50). Two BlueRun Ventures portfolio companies made the cut.

The Information is the most influential tech publication in Silicon Valley, known for its exclusives and in-depth reporting. TI50 is its flagship year-end list, gathering previously undisclosed business and financial data to evaluate companies on their current standing, business model, and growth prospects. It selects outstanding startups across eight sectors worldwide and ranks among the most influential barometers for emerging companies globally.
Galaxy Universal ranked first on the Top Asia Startups list. VITURE was the only AR company to make the global list.

Galaxy Universal has developed multiple humanoid robot prototypes and is exploring various enterprise use cases. Chinese food delivery giant Meituan is testing its Galbot robot at cloud kitchen facilities, where it transports food from the kitchen to the facility entrance for couriers to pick up. Ten domestic restaurants are also piloting Galbot to handle customer orders and serve food. Galaxy Universal aims to generate revenue by selling or leasing robots to enterprises and is currently in discussions with several supermarket and retail chains. Co-founder He Wang earned his PhD at Stanford University and previously taught at Peking University's School of Computer Science; he is among China's top researchers in robotics and AI. Co-founder Tengzhou Yao previously worked at the Shanghai Robotics Center of ABB, the Swedish-Swiss multinational industrial technology company.

"VITURE's debut product, the VITURE One, lets users play games on a 120-inch virtual screen and was enthusiastically received by gamers. The VITURE Pro, launched earlier this year, also earned positive market feedback. Co-founder and CEO David Jiang previously worked on Google Glass. VITURE's glasses and accompanying neckband are lightweight enough to wear comfortably for hours. The neckband runs an operating system that supports both VITURE's native apps and Android applications, enabling remote streaming from users' PlayStation and Xbox consoles at home. According to research firm Counterpoint, thanks to the VITURE One, VITURE became the market share leader in the AR smart glasses category in Q1 2024. The company has also successfully attracted non-gamers by adding enhanced search and other productivity features."
