Recently, Astribot, a portfolio company of Datong Capital, announced a thousand-unit strategic partnership with SEER Robotics for humanoid robot deployment. Over the next two years, the two companies will push large-scale, phased rollouts of AI robots across industrial, manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics scenarios. This collaboration marks a new phase in AI robotics — the "industrial intelligent agent" era — setting a benchmark for the commercialization of embodied intelligence and serving as a concrete step toward advancing "new quality productive forces."
The partnership combines Astribot's AI robot platform with SEER Robotics' control system technology, bridging the gap from single-point tech validation to multi-scenario, large-scale application. AI robots will gradually take on material delivery, tote handling, loading and unloading, and empty container recycling along production lines — automating the tedious, unsafe, and physically demanding tasks in industrial manufacturing. This will reduce workers' repetitive labor burden, allowing them to focus on skills and processes that resist automation, while continuously improving production efficiency and safety and injecting new growth momentum into China's manufacturing sector.
SEER Robotics is the world's largest intelligent robotics company built around controller systems, ranking first globally in robot controller sales for two consecutive years (2023–2024). SEER Robotics stated it will continue integrating the advantages of its controller integration and industrial reliability with AI humanoid robots to deliver higher-performance solutions. Astribot emphasized that through large-scale deployment validation, it will drive a virtuous cycle of "hardware optimization — data accumulation — algorithm refinement — industrial deployment," accelerating the full-chain application of AI robots in industrial scenarios, boosting efficiency and cutting costs for enterprise clients, and creating safer human-robot collaboration environments.
Beyond deployment in industrial and logistics settings, the two parties will jointly develop industrial AI robot products and explore frontier technical themes including robot control, cable-driven transmission, and AI-robot hardware-software synergy.
