The list aims to identify tech companies born in China that are shaping the world. Their success lies not merely in specific technologies or products, but in the innovative spirit and global vision they represent.

Recently, the 2025 Wealth China Tech 50 list was officially unveiled. The list seeks out companies born in China that are shaping the world — their success lies not only in specific technologies and products, but in the innovative spirit and global vision they represent.

WeRide (NASDAQ: WRD), a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company, made the list.

WeRide

Reason for inclusion: Autonomous driving technology has reached a critical stage, and WeRide is accelerating ahead. It is the only tech company in the world whose products hold autonomous driving permits in six countries — China, the United States, the UAE, Singapore, France, and Saudi Arabia — and it currently conducts R&D, testing, and operations in 30 cities across 10 countries. In October 2024, WeRide listed on Nasdaq, becoming the "first global general-purpose autonomous driving stock" and the "first global Robotaxi stock."

WeRide's technology covers smart mobility, smart logistics, and smart sanitation, and has entered the commercial operations stage. The company brings extensive practical experience both at home and abroad, and has established strategic partnerships with multiple top-tier global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

At the intersection of technological iteration and market demand, Chinese companies are driving technology to market with formidable execution. In the large model space, they are optimizing vertical-domain models for finance, healthcare, and other sectors to boost efficiency. They are enabling machines to replace humans in high-risk, high-intensity work scenarios by improving joint flexibility and battery life. They are developing more efficient, cleaner energy sources to foster greater harmony between humanity and nature.
