Selection Criteria

- Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) 2025

Yearbook membership and recognition levels are based on companies' 2024 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) scores. The selection process also reflects exclusion screening criteria. Recognition levels are calculated based on the scores of the best-performing companies in each industry, with exclusion criteria then applied. For the Industry Top Improver designation, a company's S&P Global CSA score must have improved by at least 5% year-over-year, representing the largest increase in its industry.

Dave Ernsberger and Mark Eramo, Co-Heads of Commodities at S&P Global, stated that "climate change is increasingly becoming an urgent priority for economic and social development. In our collective efforts to achieve this goal, we must recognize that the path is complex and multi-dimensional, requiring collaboration. The transition to a sustainable economy demands rethinking how we produce and consume, investing in innovative technologies, and cultivating resilient supply chains."
