Recently, Cyzone released its annual lists of top investors under 40 and entrepreneurial pioneers under 35 for 2025. The former aims to identify capital allocators active at the forefront of venture investing, riding the wave of innovation; the latter spotlights and inspires a new generation of young founders, capturing the pulse of the era's most vibrant innovation — an important barometer for future business leaders and emerging trends. This year's honorees average 37.5 years old; nearly 90% hold master's degrees or higher, including five PhDs; over 70% focus on intelligent manufacturing and over 60% on AI; early and growth stages remain the primary focus for young investors.
This generation of young entrepreneurs is redefining the paradigm of hardcore innovation through action: grounded in top-tier academic training, they target critical pain points such as medical resource scarcity and industrial energy consumption, daring to venture into uncharted frontiers and push cognitive boundaries. They combine engineering thinking with commercial acumen, demonstrating strong ability to bring innovations to market, while always placing social value creation at the core — driving industrial upgrading, resource equity, and sustainable development through technological innovation, becoming a defining force in shaping the future of technology.
The honored young entrepreneurs average 32.2 years old; nearly 80% are founders, with an average entrepreneurial tenure of 5.1 years; 16 hold PhDs, and over 70% graduated with STEM degrees. Their companies average four years since founding, with one-third focused on AI; 50% have reached unicorn or future-unicorn status; average total funding raised is nearly RMB 400 million across four rounds, with 15 companies completing fresh funding rounds in 2025.
