On April 17, 2026, Beijing Time, Alamar Biosciences — a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company and leader in precision proteomics — successfully listed on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange, marking Qiming's fifth IPO since the start of the year. Alamar Biosciences (NASDAQ: ALMR) priced its shares at $17 and opened at $22.60, giving it a market cap of approximately $1.5 billion.

In 2020, Qiming Venture Partners led Alamar Biosciences' Series A round and continued to back the company through its Series B and C. Prior to the IPO, Qiming held roughly a 19.2% stake in Alamar, making it one of the company's most significant institutional investors.

Founded in 2018, Alamar Biosciences is dedicated to developing and commercializing proteomics technologies, with the goal of establishing the gold standard for protein detection and analysis. The company's proprietary NULISA™ technology overcomes the design limitations of existing proteomics tools, delivering ultra-high sensitivity, high specificity, flexible multiplex protein detection, broad dynamic range, and seamless automation — enabling the detection of protein biomarkers at extremely low concentrations and filling critical gaps left by other protein detection methods.

In addition, Alamar's self-developed ARGO™ HT fully automated, high-throughput system enables a "sample-to-answer" workflow, driving rapid market penetration. By the end of 2025, cumulative ARGO™ HT installations exceeded 100 units across more than 300 customers in 25 countries. Since the platform's commercial launch, over 100 scientific papers have been published based on its technologies and products.
