Recently, the Qiming Venture Partners Rural Revitalization Entrepreneurs Support Program — 2025 Industrial Entrepreneurs Quality Development Exchange Conference was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Lü Huoming, former Party Secretary of the Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences and professor and doctoral supervisor; Yu Hong, Deputy Director of the Rural Development Institute at the Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences; Xu Xuchu, Professor at the China Academy for Rural Development at Zhejiang University; Liu Wenkui, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Rural Development Foundation; Zhang Yi, Chief Operating Officer of Qiming Venture Partners China; Song Yang, Deputy General Manager of the Agriculture, Rural Areas and Farmers Department at Postal Savings Bank of China Chengdu Branch; Wang Guangyuan, Executive Dean of the Sichuan Mengdingshan Cooperative Development Training Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Mengdingshan Institute"); and 14 industrial entrepreneur representatives attended the exchange conference.

In his opening remarks, Liu Wenkui, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Rural Development Foundation, stated that since its launch in 2022, the "Rural Revitalization Entrepreneurs Support Program" has helped consolidate and expand poverty alleviation achievements and facilitate effective alignment with rural revitalization by cultivating rural entrepreneurial talent and enhancing rural human capital. Going forward, the Foundation will fully leverage its experience, team, and resource advantages from rural practice to provide comprehensive support for the growth of rural entrepreneurs.

Zhang Yi, Chief Operating Officer of Qiming Venture Partners China, elaborated on the origins of the "Rural Revitalization Entrepreneurs Support Program" in his opening remarks. He noted that the program was jointly initiated by Qiming Venture Partners and the China Rural Development Foundation, aiming to fully leverage both parties' resource advantages in venture capital and public welfare to continuously empower rural entrepreneurs; he also stated that Qiming Venture Partners will in the future introduce industrial resources and technological capabilities from its portfolio companies, such as cutting-edge technologies in artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing, to broaden rural entrepreneurs' horizons by exploring integration points between technology and rural scenarios.

At the conference, Wang Guangyuan, Executive Dean of Mengdingshan Institute, systematically introduced the program's achievements over the past three years and the Institute's talent cultivation model as a primary supporting institution. He pointed out that as the nation's first public welfare training institution focused primarily on cultivating cooperative directors, Mengdingshan Institute has developed a distinctive and effective talent cultivation model, driving the Rural Revitalization Entrepreneurs Support Program to complete model exploration in industrial entrepreneur empowerment, cultivation of its first cohort of outstanding trainees, and initial establishment of program influence. Moving forward, Mengdingshan Institute will focus on cultivating benchmarks and establishing standards, applying a "dual-wheel drive" strategy to promote quality development of the program.

During the trainee sharing session, Wang Xiaoyan, Director of the Wanhua Konjac Specialized Cooperative in Wanyuan City, Sichuan Province, shared her entrepreneurial story and personal growth under the theme Returning Home to Start a Business: Drawing an "Original Aspiration for Agriculture" in the Grain Fields. Over the years, with program empowerment, Wang Xiaoyan has enhanced cooperative members' capabilities through talent development, improved production efficiency through agricultural machinery, and broadened market channels through branding and marketing, bringing the cooperative's rice to wider markets.

Yin Zhijie, Director of the Piandaozi Village Shareholding Economic Cooperative in Luanping County, Hebei Province, shared her growth experience and learning outcomes around the theme Enhancing the Comprehensive Quality of Industrial Entrepreneurs to Promote Rural Development. In 2023, she participated in training organized by Mengdingshan Institute, learning about cooperative standardized management and other knowledge. Upon returning, she immediately applied what she learned to improve the cooperative's charter and systems, driving high-quality cooperative development. Subsequently, with continuous program empowerment, she explored new models for cooperative and village collective development, established a rural study tour base, and enhanced the village collective economy's self-sustaining capacity.

Jing Yongxue, Director of the Gerui Apple Specialized Cooperative in Jingning County, Gansu Province, elaborated on the significance of full industrial chain integration for cooperative development under the theme Driving Cooperative Quality and Efficiency Improvement Through Full Industrial Chain Resource Integration. With program support, through strategies including introducing expert guidance, optimizing varieties, brand marketing, and e-commerce sales, he promoted quality improvement, efficiency gains, and scaled development of the local apple industry.

In the thematic sharing session, Professor Xu Xuchu provided an in-depth analysis of high-quality development trends for Chinese cooperatives, proposing nine major trends in farmer cooperative development. Deputy General Manager Song Yang shared Postal Savings Bank's active explorations and innovative practices in inclusive finance and rural revitalization services, offering new perspectives on financial services for cooperatives from a banking viewpoint.
