We hope to highlight investment firms that were bolder in their early-stage bets and backed projects that exerted greater influence on their industries and the market at large.

Recently, IPO Zaodao released its 2025 Top 100 IPO Investment Institutions rankings. Continuing the methodology of the past six years, the rankings do not simply tally and rank institutions by IPO count alone, but aim to highlight those firms that are bolder in early-stage investing and have backed projects with greater influence on their industries and the broader market.
Qiming Venture Partners was honored with 2025 Top 10 IPO Investment Institution, Best AI Investment Institution, Best Embodied Artificial Intelligence Investment Institution, Best Global Expansion Investment Institution, Best Healthcare Investment Institution, and Best ESG Investment Institution. Selection Criteria
The IPO Zaodao 2025 Top 100 IPO Investment Institutions list is compiled based on two data points: IPO project count and an influence index, which together produce a composite score ranked from highest to lowest. Project count carries a 70% weight, while the influence index carries 30% (on a 1–7 scale, with 7 being highest). The formula is: Composite Score = IPO Project Count × 0.7 + Influence Index × 0.3.
IPO Zaodao noted that by the numbers, IPO market activity in 2025 has recovered to 2023 levels, emerging from the "trough" of 2024. By project count, pharmaceuticals and biotech, hardware equipment, and software services were the most active sectors for IPOs. Riding the wave of AI technology, these three areas represent directions where Chinese companies are continually building strength — and where the venture capital market sees validation.
