From Founding NYSE: LAIX to Becoming an AI Investor | A Conversation with Oasis Capital Director Ben on English Learning, EdTech Products, and Career Planning in the AI Era

July 21, 2024

Ben is a managing director at Oasis Capital overseeing AI investments. Oasis Capital has invested in more than ten AI companies, including MiniMax, Infinigence AI, and Tiamat. Ben previously co-founded NYSE: LAIX, which taught people to speak English and successfully listed in the United States — making him, without question, the "most formidable English teacher" among my friends.

So we invited Ben to hear from someone who went from "most formidable English teacher" to joining "the most aggressive AI investment fund" — his thoughts on how we should invest in the AI era, how we should think, how we should learn English, how we should teach our children English, and more importantly, how we should plan our career directions for the future amid this generative AI technology wave.
