AI in Silicon Valley: White-Hot and Boiling Over | A Conversation with Bob Xu and Yunfei, Founder of Beta University

What's actually happening in Silicon Valley? What are the people on the front lines of AI entrepreneurship really experiencing?

Those of us following AI probably share a similar feeling: AI-related startups and new products in Silicon Valley seem to be absolutely buzzing. For those of us on Beijing time, we wake up every day to major news. So what's actually happening in Silicon Valley? What's the real experience of those on the front lines of AI entrepreneurship?

In this episode of Crossing, we continue our conversation on "AI in Silicon Valley."

We've invited two highly active guests in the Valley: Bob Xu is a senior executive at a well-known Silicon Valley tech company, a serial entrepreneur, and a visiting lecturer at Stanford University and guest host on "Tech Buzz." Yunfei and his Beta University[1] incubate 50 projects every quarter in Silicon Valley and have considerable influence. We've asked them to share their observations and analysis of Silicon Valley and AI, hoping that listeners interested in the Valley, especially entrepreneurs, will find it valuable.

A quick note: this episode is also a collaboration between Crossing and Xiaohongshu — in the tech and venture capital industry we cover, more and more breaking news is appearing first on Xiaohongshu. We've also noticed that more and more investment institutions and entrepreneurs (particularly in AI) are starting to publish content on the platform. It's becoming an increasingly important platform for content creation and consumption.
