AI in Silicon Valley: White-Hot and Bubbling | A Conversation with Bob Xu and Yunfei, Founder of Beta University
September 17, 2024
If you're following AI, you might share our sense that Silicon Valley's AI startups and new products seem to be everywhere. For those of us on Beijing time, we wake up to major news every single day. So what's actually happening in Silicon Valley? What's it really like for people on the front lines of AI entrepreneurship?
In this episode of Crossroads, we continue our conversation on "AI in Silicon Valley." We've invited two highly active guests from the Valley: Bob Xu is a senior executive at a well-known Silicon Valley tech company, a serial entrepreneur, and a guest lecturer at Stanford University and a guest host on Tech Buzz. Yunfei and his Beta University incubate 50 projects each quarter in Silicon Valley and have considerable influence. We asked them to share their observations and analysis of Silicon Valley and AI — we hope friends interested in the Valley, especially entrepreneurs, will find value here.
We should note that this episode is a collaboration between Crossroads and Xiaohongshu — in the tech and venture capital world we follow, more and more news is breaking first on Xiaohongshu, and we've noticed that more and more investment firms and founders (particularly AI founders) are actively posting content there. It's becoming a platform that more people are taking seriously for both publishing and consuming content.
