Crossing x Abotify x a16z: Let's Talk About the AI World 1,000 Days From Now at the Peking University Stanford Center | Beijing Offline Gathering

The best way to predict the future is to create it.

What will the world look like in 2027? You wake up to a personalized morning video, your AI assistant schedules your optimal workday, in games you're both player and designer, and when you shop, AI not only picks the perfect products for you but anticipates and solves needs you haven't even had yet.

We're less than two weeks away from ChatGPT's second anniversary, and we're still at AI's starting line — everything is chaos. But there are always far-sighted, active creators trying to envision what the world will look like 1,000 days from now.

On Sunday, November 24, Crossing is partnering with AI-native advertising platform Abotify and a16z's games fund to host Beijing's first offline AI gathering at Stanford Center at Peking University.

We've invited a16z partner Troy Kirwin and Abotify co-founder Jason to discuss the future of AI applications, along with 15 forward-thinking speakers who will share — in open-mic format — how they're building our future at the intersection of AI with consumer content and entertainment (generative video, gaming, productivity tools) and marketing/global expansion.

📍 Location: Stanford Center at Peking University (on PKU campus)

📅 Date: November 24 (Sunday, 1:30 PM — 5:30 PM)

History keeps teaching us that the future isn't shaped by a handful of giants or heroes, but by every one of us — you, me, her — who takes positive action and dares to innovate.

Guided by this belief, we've chosen a unique format to present diverse perspectives — we'll feature 15 compelling "open mic" sessions, bringing together 15 distinctive and insightful voices. Ten slots are already filled; the remaining five are open to applicants — please submit your application when you register.

Since its founding, Crossing has been dedicated to finding, interviewing, and bringing together active builders in the AI era. This event continues that tradition.

These 15 open mics will present a rich tapestry of perspectives and experiences, all from doers and creators actively exploring and boldly innovating in the AI age. Though they come from different backgrounds and fields, they share one common belief:

"The best way to predict the future is to create it." — Computer scientist Alan Kay
