Boray Data (柏睿数据) is a data-intelligence infrastructure software company built around self-developed database and AI product lines, positioning itself as a "Data+AI" smart-data computing firm serving government and enterprise digital transformation . It was among the first batch of companies recognized as national-level "little giant" (专精特新) enterprises by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology . The company holds core database patents and international IP, with products spanning its RapidsDB SQL database, data analytics platforms, data storage-computing integrated hardware, and database acceleration and security chips . In late 2022 it closed a strategic funding round exceeding RMB 100 million, backed by government guidance funds from Beijing, Hefei, and Shanghai alongside a Ministry of Science and Technology-industry fund, with BlueRun Ventures having led its Pre-A and A rounds . More recently, the company has moved into AI infrastructure, launching a vector storage query engine (Rapids VectorDB) and LLMOps platform in 2023 , and by mid-2024 was marketing an integrated AI-plus-education hardware appliance combining large-model knowledge base capabilities .
