Center on Frontiers of Computing Studies, Peking University

The Center on Frontiers of Computing Studies is a research institute within Peking University's School of Computer Science, established as one of seven subordinate units when the computer science department was upgraded to an independent college in October 2021 . It serves as a hub for advanced computing research and faculty recruitment; for instance, He Wang joined as an assistant professor and PhD advisor in September 2021 after completing his doctorate at Stanford, and he also directs the PKU–Galaxy Universal Embodied Intelligence Joint Laboratory .
