CreditEase Wealth Management is the wealth-management arm of CreditEase (宜信), the fintech group founded by Tang Ning . In a 2019 conversation with FreeS Fund's Li Feng, Tang described CreditEase's business as having expanded well beyond its origins in internet finance — which it pioneered before the term even existed — to encompass leading wealth-management services for entrepreneurs in China . The group also listed its lending unit Yirendai on the NYSE in 2015, the first Chinese internet fintech IPO . Tang has characterized CreditEase's path as building a business with long-term patience rather than winner-take-all competition, fitting the profile of financial services as infrastructure with both commercial and social value .
