David Li

David Li is a Chinese private-equity investor who founded Centurium Capital (大钲资本) after leaving Warburg Pincus China, where he had served as a generation-two leader alongside Cheng Zhanglun and Wei Zhen following the departure of founder Sun Qiang . In January 2022, Centurium became the controlling shareholder of Luckin Coffee and Li took over as chairman, steering the company's debt restructuring and governance overhaul after its accounting-fraud scandal and delisting .
